hey mate,
Probably because it is 96 kpbs it is very hard to hear how the track really sounds. Right now it sounds ultrathin. Hardly any bass, a weak kick but that might be because of the 96 kpbs bitrate.
I like the atmosphere in the track and that big gliding synthlead is pretty nice. However the track lacks a lot. There is no real progression. I thought you were building up but it appears that the whole track more or less goes the same.
Also the track lacks energy because there is not enough percussion involved. A simple thing as a hihatriff or even a ride would do wonders.
I had expected a bit more from this tune especially because I liked Universal Emotion from you a lot.
Keep it up mate.
Cheers,
Nomen Nescio
thats really weird because on my speaker system it sounds fine even tho its 96k... what are you listening to it on?
thanks for the feedback nevertheless...

Especially when you go wild with the notation haha. But still the track is empty and thin. I just feel that a lot could be added to make it tighter.
I agree pretty much, really nice ideas and that crazy melody line is very cool, but the track sounds thin. There's not enough freq-wise between the bass and the main melody .. the melody sounds a bit lonely. I love the twisting little synth in the left speaker - it's got tonnes of character and makes for a nice vibe.
hmm the intro melody kinda synth sounds really nice.. does it glide?
the percs sound really nice.. especially that "digital" one..
1:25 now the synth seems a bit too loud imo. its losing its special touch.
not much new going on for a melodic melody.. after 4.32 where the chords come in it start too sound better
but now the high gliding synth is annoying me
I personally think it needs a little work on the high glide synth..
then it would be perfectly suitable for a arena full of people
!
thanks for the feedback, i will look into the thinness factor, but i tried adding some more stuff before i put it out, and it just got too cluttered and stole from the main synth and elements. the rythm can always be worked on in any track... the more rythmic elements the more complex the song will be...so i will try to get on that. as for the main synth... what seems to be the problem? why does it annoy?
thanks for the feedback guys, really appreciate it. specialy since i've had no feedback for any of my tracks while i was traveling eastern europe...
Bookmarked. I'll listen to it when my ears are being a little more co-operative. btw, didn't you use to go to UVic? because I swear I saw some impromptu ads of yours around Clearihue a couple years back
I'm doing a Linguistics major there atm. Cheers
yep still go there actually, but i just got back from europe too late and im skipping fall semester. will be back in january tho...
have fun listening.

Love the track
How did ya go about getting the Dj work in Ibiza ?
thanks for the smiles on the track... I went out there and just applied to dj everywhere. basicaly landed on the island with first months rent... and I managed to do pretty well. mainly underground/small club parties and stuff like that- but 2 months i lived of cd sales(my productions) and djing so it was a blast. sold about 85cds and yea, thought i had a massage therapist job as backup lined up before i left, but that fell through after the company descided they wanted only girls... sucky, but wft- i survived and had a hell of a time...
Nice stuff, the kick is nice and punchy and the bass is cool. I luv the supersaw synths, maybe pan the backing synth to the centre???
Good backing stuff with the raw saw to, nice and dark. Wierd melody and stuff but unique. You need more percussion work and to pan everything centre. Other than that great stuff...
thanks for the review mate, will work on the rythm for sure and see what happens when i mess with the panning.
Not bad.
I like the lead sounds, and the kick is solid. The bass seems a little thin and some of the percs are a bit on the quiet side, but overall, I must say I enjoyed it. Decent use of reverb, too.
Looking forward to the next track
Hm. This track hurts my ears. And no it's not my speakers. There just seems too much resonance on the synths. Kick is very ploppy, i dont think it fits nowadays trance, its too accoustic almost. Percs are too thin as well man. Liking that wavy synth, reminds me of the good old Magik mixes.
Doesnt do the trick for me.
About your Ibiza adventure: great to hear, must be a great experience just too jump in there to make a living as an artist.
thanks for the feedback guys, really appreciate it. I did revamp the track though before i put it up on www.audiojelly.com.
