Ghost Smilie Cristian Fuentes-My Memories (Uplifting)128kb (Beta)

Here's a project that I have been working on for about two weeks. I used many new synths and VSTi's although it's not fully done it needs some EQ and Mastering to be done. Might rework the break strings in a bit. I'm thinking about using Soundforge to master it. Who knows. Hope to hear your comments.

not bad m8. I'd say add some more bassline and thicken the tune up a bit. lemme know how it goes

Posted by Kris Xperiment on Oct-21-2005 05:23:

Will do

You we're right on target with that, having added a thicker bassline would give it more a drive. Thanks for the suggestion, will do.

lovely melodies man !

great intro too.

i'd say overall that bassline and some of the synths need beefing up

I second that Really a nice track here mate, but the track sounds a bit thin still. Also I think the break is a bit too long Definately need work on the bass especially during the leadsection. A nice full bass will make sure the percussions glues better to the track. Also during the leadsection try to add a nice full stringlayer on top of the lead or something like that, to give the whole more body. Just a suggestion, it might sound good

In potential this is a great track!

Noman Nescio

Thank you for listening to the track and giving me constructive criticism, it really brightens my day whether it be good or bad! Because it helps me improve myself. I agree with every 1 here there is a feeling on emptyness as far as the synths go. I think the climax is missing some strings in the background, bassline does need more of a boom to it, I believe raising the lower end freq's might do the trick. Same applies for the subbass doesnt it?

hmm I think it sounds pretty good how it is!!
after the second listen I have to agree with the bassline.. and im missing some drive after the climaxbuild. maybe add a 4x4 hihat?
you the one that goes like tiggatshtiggatshtiggatshtiggatsh
strings sound really good but imo I would bring them back a bit.. lower the volume just a little bit.
But this song has potential man! Im definitly going to keep my eye open for this one.

Loving this sound, great sound quailty, clear melodies, well done percussion. Lots of creative synth work, harmonizing is really clear.

bassline(tips)-you can try sending bass in FX cahnnel nad try Stereo enhancerktehn try a bit more low freqs

Strings circle(all the song)-this is awesome...godish....

0:21(synth arp)(very low volume)-need some widen,maybe a little chorus should help...

1:14(when pad starts)-there need fade in for pad before this moment

2:08 starts trance-there need Big reeverb for pads and auotomating them to hogh cutoff..

3:29-please look at bassline tip

maybe 4:26 need fade in kick(please do work with volume in piano roll)

4:32(man synth)-need some delay,maybe some filter work(some resonance)

structure-very good(trancish)

mastering-8,5

song idea-9(from 2:08-10)

overall-you going right

9/10

I can't stop listening to this. What a great job Cris. I love the synths. The bass, yes, needs some 'umph. Overall agreed.
