[Prog/Psy] Cybernetika - Through Ages (192 kbps, full)
Heya,
here is my newest tune called "Through Ages" which features an extremely trippy and melodic mix of Psy and Prog... I've spent lots of time on mastering and finalizing the tune and I think the effort pays off.
Title: Through Ages
Length: 11:25
Bitrate: 192 kbps

Enjoy, feedback appreciated
heya, yourself...
i was surprised this wasn't one of your darker ones.... i like it very much... more than your other stuff.... it's cool to try something else.....
Pro:
- some cool gated synth sounds
- cool eerie pads
- cool layering of the melodies
Con:
- too long
- a key change somewhere... anywhere... would've been nice
- doesn't maintain interest
Don't take it too harshly... you have to keep in mind that Psy really isn't my thing.
I'm sure there are others on here that will love it. I think I was just expecting something else when you said "extremely trippy and melodic". It's trippy, but not so sure about the latter.
Levels and everything sounded pretty good through my crap headphones.
Keep on doin' ya thang!
very clean goa/progressive psy
very sharp sounds you've got m8
good job on balancing, except that the high end of the sound spectrum dosent look like its fully filled, however it may be because your percs arent that crisp and clear which is a standard in progressive psy and these low bpm rates.
i like your track, its chilly and pro made, i dont even believe my ears that its been made in fruity, it sounds like a hardware, well done!
this can be released for sure, and i bet you any label would want this one the next various artists album compilation.
incredible quality.
Nice work Lars! Love this track. I could so trip out to this in a morning set.
Everything feels very solid and well mastered. Bass kick combo is very solid. Synth programming is top notch too. The evolving soundscapes in the background are subtle but work really well. Its is a very dark and evocative sound you've managed to create. You certianly put a lot of time into this one, infact the track really feels like its taking you on a journey.
The track structure is pretty much flawless in my opinion for this type of track. Progression is well maintained at the start and the change around the 6 minute mark works really well. The only thing is I was wanting a bit more synth action between 7.20 and 8.20. Pretty minor thing really.
Its a huge departure from your darker goa style stuff. Been waiting for you to do something outside of your comfort zone for a while now
and this definately hits the spot.
This could easily make it onto a prog compilation... send it out!!
Hello man,
Long time without hear a track from you
.
This is a softer Psy, interesting, pretty clean production
.
Nice work mate I have always like your stuff keep it up
.
Kopi =o.
Cybernetica, I like this a lot, really nice sound you got there, glad to see psytrance being pushed in different directions, thats what I love about it. Beautiful track.

Heya mate,
I enjoyed the intro to this tune. The pads give a great ambiance & set-up a dark dreamy atmosphere.
This is a quality production. It is clean, has flawless progression & a great sellection of sounds. The track may go for a long 11 minutes, but honestly I didnt notice the track length too much as I was consumed by the journey; The track layout does exactly what it needs to do & spraws across the 11 minutes seemlessly to a perfect ending.

the only thing i dont like is the hihat. synths, melodies, beat, bass and overall production is perfect.
fuck i love this one... contact the labels
epic, twisted and kinda scary! tripping paradise my friend, send it out.
Really nice one!
Love it!
Wooow, thanks for all the positive replies... I dont know where to start... A slightly modified version of the tune will be sent out because you really encouraged me to do so
I really like the intro. It's really kinda chill, I like that though. I agree I could imagine this around sunrise at an outdoor gathering. I like it more as it goes.
It has a good entrancing quality to it. The mastering sounds pretty good too. Levels are all pretty good. I see what you mean by the progressive part of it. It just keeps progressing bit by bit. Keep it up man I like this alot

This seems more melodically complex than some of your other stuff. I can't say I disapprove.
Good gating sounds.
I think your hats could be a bit louder and sparklier. Particularly the offbeat stabs. You certainly have room for them.
Good acid arping.
Y'know, maybe the hats don't need to be very loud. It sounds like a really good dub right now.
9:15 is tight.
Excellent outro. It leaves me with a feeling of completeness. Heh.
Damn cyber... good shit.
Yea, loving it's psy sound, and it's progressive sound. I've been listening to more and more tracks off of iboga... I'm sure you've heard of them.
Anyway. I really do like the progression, and as far as melodic is concerned, it's more melodic than some progpsy! So I get what you mean.
Great sounding kick. And that deep bassline in the background and pads are wicked.
Good work.

(/me burns cd and puts in car to drive to Seattle (stupid art instute so far from my house
)
very nice start followed by a smooth and trippy flow "through ages".
I don't like the synthline beginning at 2:55. now were at 4:25, and have reached another age
. cool and mystic pad, like it. especially in combination with the deeply reverbed percs.
ahhhh 5:51 fits perfectly !!!! really kicks me
. mmmmm, the synthline following at 6:20 doesn't fit, destroys the trip :/
at 7:20 again :/
8:15 gets interesting again, but then, 9:15 the melody reminds me too much of those old amiga games, sorry.
altogether, nice atmosphere, very good flow which suits the topic "through ages" very well. mixing sounds good on my monitors. but some of the synthlines are just not my cup of tea.
