Interview with Armin Van Buuren - Nov 5th

I will be interviewing Armin on the 5th of November at the Telewest Arena for the 'Fabulous Las Vegas' event by Godskitchen. I have a list of questions to ask him already but wanted to know if anyone else had anything they would like answered..

His reply will most likely be "I'm #1? Cool."

Get real - I doubt very much that he has the time or the will to check the forums.

My question: where do you see Trance music going in the future? Do you agree or disagree with this movement?

Armin is only one of the few top DJs that reads TA quite a bit.

Swampmonstah is right.

You'd be surprised at just how much influence TA has on the scene. Record deals with producers have been greatly affected by certain goings-on here in the past.

That pic is a few years old.

Thanks for proving him wrong Swamper. Tranceaddict is the very best EDM site on the net. We have more Djs and producers and rising stars like Mike Foyle, Hydroid, Elevation and many others than any other site. As far as the question goes, I would ask him what are his thoughts on the statement Paul Van Dyke made in which he was criticising other famous Djs and I think Tiesto was one of them. Regardless, I think that was unprofessional of him. Please ask him about his thoughts on the statement and his thoughts on the current state of trance. If anyone knows the excact statement Paul Van Dyke made, please post it here so Armada_hk may quote him.

P.S. Please ask him this question, I would really love to know what he thinks about it.

whats his favorite track of his current album?
whats the next single?

whats next from him?

Posted by Toufas on Oct-22-2005 23:04:

armin used to check ta for asot tracklists..it was faster to c/p than write his own for his site:P

Posted by spacechica on Oct-23-2005 02:14:

What is his music background?

Any Alibi tracks in the plans?

What was his inspiration for "Shivers" the album?

Posted by The 3am Junkie on Oct-23-2005 03:44:

haha what if there are in fact undercover djs that use an x alias on the TA forums instead of using their real dj names
Well anyways, I always wanted to know if he ever watched Ibiza's Children, considering he is featured on it.

WEll, if he reads TA so damned much, y the hell do we need u to ask the questions for us.... he can just read this and reply to us....

ARMIN! ur so young, and u've gotten so far in the EDM scene. How did u do it? Where did u get the resources to be able to make successful productions/remixes so much further back in ur career? When u were so young too.

andhow was ur thinking/mentality different to what it is now, that ur successful, as opposed to when u were an amatuer? any change in attitudes, that really helped propel u forward?

wat advice do u have to n00b producers and DJs today, regarding their attitude and mentality towards their music.

I'm sure you can, but I doubt Swamper would post any "fake" pic on his own site. By the way, who took this pic?

the way things are set up, it looks like its the ID&T studio where armin used to do ASOT. i went there couple of years ago, it was pretty cool.

im sure a lot of armin fans would confirm that it is in fact the back of armin's head

here's a question for armin: there must be some regrets for him in persuing the DJ career, what are they and if he could do anything, what would he do to overcome them?
