best service to book flights/hotels

Im taking a mini-vacation to Miami on the 4th to celebrate getting a much higher paying job. Paul van Dyk is playing at Club Space and...well there ya go. I've never booked a flight and I'm just curious as to what sites those of you who do travel look into when making travel plans. Also if anyone who has been to WMC can recommend any hotels near Club Space and the airport (mainland miami) I'd appreciate the tip.

I've never had any luck whatsoever trying to book a flight online. I go to an off-the-wall travel agency in Copperas Cove and book flights through them, and they've always been cheaper than even Sato Travel gives me with my military discount. If you don't want to book locally and are determined to use an online service, others will be better at recommendations than I will be.

if you ever have the flexibility of one or two days, priceline has saved me alot of money.
priceline.com, name your own price. but thats only if you can take the chance of the flight times being chosen for you.

i would try southwest airlines, but they fly to fort lauredale. The holiday inn on bayfront park would be a good idea and it's close to space ...walking distance

good luck

Hi Matthias:
For flights:
I like www.itasoftware.com, because it lets you play around with flexible dates/airports.

Have fun!
