DAVID GUETTA F*CKED ME

[btw, I posted this same post on tribe. Sorry for repeating]
HOLY CRAP.

We got there around 11pm or later.

The lineup sucked. Well lineups always suck but my friend got a VIP pass which was useless because there was three of us waiting to get in.

The lady checking coats or whatever was really really fuking rude to me. I'm sorry I can't read your mind, beetach.

Anyway, fuk that noise!

DAVID GUETTA WAS AWESOME.

HOLY CRAP!

Sean and I danced the entire night near the speakers and later approached the front. We're so close, we could have touched him! hehehe.

AWESOME AWESOME TRACKLISTING
AWESOME MIXING

I CANT BELIEVE I GOT TO HEAR A DAFTPUNK TRACK IN A CLUB!!!
HOLY FUK!!!!

unbelievable!

I loved Guetta. He was awesome to watch. He was really enjoying himself. He was smiling, he was laughing. It was really great.

some track he played was sooo old skool.
Ok. I dunno how old. whatever.

I loved it. People were jumpin and pumpin' soo hard...It was awesome. It so great to see so many peeps packed into one club dancing the night away.

There were some hot podium dancers but I wasn't impressed! they only danced for literally 5 minutes

HUGE PROPS to the visual and lighting crew. No idea who they were. [maybe some dude in a batman shirt? and some other chick?]

Oh man, I wish I could remember some of the tracks he played. Anyway, it was sound of a girl doing her thing - the visual was a hot chick in a bikini taking a peek in her underpants.
tee hee.

I really really loved it. I'm soo glad Sasha took me out and Sean came along. What an awesome night. You people really missed out!

Thanks to Guetta - playing his best and giving out an awesome vibe.

ALSO, props to an awesome security and bussing crew.

THE BEST MOMENT OF THE NIGHT! [well one of them]

Seeing one of the bussers DANCING while picking up glasses and clearing bottles. Too kewl.

I was really lucky. I was dancing and I smacked the face of one of the sercurity dudes. Oops. Thank goodness he smiled, when I apologised to him. :s

Speaking of dancing, holy crap - totally was doing the whole raise-my-arms-in-the-air. hahah

What an awesome night.

I'm officially in love with David Guetta! I cannot wait till he comes back again.
I'm so glad I went out this night, it really made up for that shit at system on Friday.

The funniest thing is he played some cheesy tunes but it was just mixed so beautifully no one cared.

some tracks he played
JOSH WINK - higher state of conscience.
THE PRODIGY - firestarter

THAT FUKING AWESOME DAFT PUNK TUNE THAT I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER HEAR IN A CLUB.

it's from the homework album.

That tune I was asking beat junkie about. One of the two. TOO AWESOME - the one that sounds like a video game or summat.

[he played a lot more awesome tunes but I simply do not know the tracks, I don't think I even want to!]

Dear Guetta,
Please come again and make me dance like that again.

Thank you,
the junk in the trunk

Dear Promoters,
Please bring Guetta back but for an extended set. Preferably not a small venue.

Goodnet, you are most welcome. I'm more than happy to take you out anytime. Thank you for being the perfect gentleman and an awesome dancing partner.

Sasha, you should know by now you are awesome. ! You are great guy. I enjoy your company and you are also quite the gentleman.

I LOVE TAAAAAAAAA!

ooo. I even saw the swamper. I introduced to Stereoprincess.
I met RJ.

I MISSED OUT ON MEETING SPITTY AND JENN!

I give up.

Dancing Dude

What an amazing night! It was my first time at Lot 332 and it's safe to say that it will definitely not be my last. I loved it .

Addy set the mood perfectly and played nothing but banging beats. Then David Guetta got on the tables and it only got better. A little to rocky at the end for my liking but he was ripping it nonetheless and the crowd was eating it up.

I must say I dont think Ive ever seen you TAs that attended party harder. Every TA I saw was destroying that dance floor with a vengeance. I still cant believe everyone partied so hard on a Sunday. I feel sorry for everyone who has to work today .

Posted by magikb on Oct-24-2005 10:02:

what a wicked night for sure... David Guetta was amazing!!!
It was great to see everyone out and looking fantastic tonight too
(my feet are killing me.. damn heels I tell ya.. someone PLEASE remind me next time.. flats only)

Anyhow, more to follow later.. I am one of those poor folks that has to be at work in 3 hours

Fucking AWESOME night. Thanks Niveole & beatjunkie for the last-minute rides - much appreciated!

David Guetta played tons of killer tunes - but I think one part that takes the cake for me was his homage to Daft Punk, where he mixed "Daft Punk - Rollin' & Scratchin'" with "Sting - Roxanne" - effin' awesome!!! This guy has a real talent for DJing, esp. with mixing, he teases WELL with samples. But make no mistake, the tunes selection was equally as good!

This was my first time at Lot 332, and the venue itself was nice (has a similar layout/size to System Soundbar IMO) and the crowd was great. Too bad I didnt meet as many TAs... I was literally too busy enjoying the music. beatjunkie knows!

Posted by Billche on Oct-24-2005 11:31:

oh man, what an awesome night. I feel like I ran a marathon yesterday... except my feet, I just can't feel those.

Addy started the night off great, with some dirty choons, and Guetta just tore the place apart afterwords.

I had to leave early, around 2:15, cuz I was with my little brother who needed to get home and get some sleep

And now, Im off to school...

I had a blast last night. It was great to finally meet some of the TAs. Sorry to all the TAs I know I saw and didn't introduce myself to, but don't worry, I'll catch you at the next event.

Don't know what to say, Guetta played some great music, had me going strong all night. But this being my first House music event, I had this thirst for some Trance, the whole night I was just hoping that the TA energy would get to Guetta and he'd drop a couple Trance tracks before the night was done.

Great music, great fun, can't wait to do it all again

p.s. I probably won't be able to make Lawler, but I'll be representing TA @ The Docks that night so I'll show those future TAs how it's done

Posted by Jem_hadar on Oct-24-2005 11:58:

Sad He played...

Red Carpet - Alright!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuck me. Fuck me. Fuck me. Fuck me.

I fucking KNEW IT! Fuck fuck fuck. AND I FUCKING WASN'T THERE!

I am soo UPSET!!!!

The universe really is making a cruel joke of my life. I still haven't heard this fucking ch00n LIVE in a club!

As I sit here at work...all I can say for the moment is WOW!!

Proper review to come later after I get more than 2 hours of sleep.

work blows right now...

Posted by She_Fitz on Oct-24-2005 13:05:

Jem_hadar - My suggestion would be to make if for Morillo. Guetta played the version that Morillo has been dropping all summer. Plus it is the Subliminal Session 9 release party... good chance he will play it as it is part of the compilation.

It is really quite something to hear....

That was super duper fun!!! (and yes, I was 100% sober, Jon ) There was no way I was even gonna even have a single drink last night, esp. with having to work at 10am. (looks like I'm gonna be a few minutes late...).
Addy started the night off w/some great dancin beats. David Guetta kept the party going from the moment he stpped up. Had a brutal trainwreck early on, but it was smooth sailing from there. I think if he were to wreck every track, it wouldn't matter to anyone- he was playing pure party people tracks, and everyone was there to go nuts!
From the rear of the club, thought I saw a guy in the booth that 'looked like Max Graham', turns out it was, and I didn't notice til the last hour. Funniest thing was seeing him do that light show w/a table lamp in the booth during "Smells like teen spirit", and the bouncers trying to keep him away from the lamp, lol.

1st time at Lot, and while I can't complain much, some minor complaints:
-they really need to speed up that line process
-ad here said $10 until 12, but they started charging $20 at 11:30 (a surprise for many)
-too hot in the beginning, cooled once the roof opened, but when 1/2 the crowd had gone, they never closed it up any, making it FREEZING for half the remaining people. Had to get jacket out of coat check to avoid getting pneumonia.

I can't even begin to give shoutouts, there were so many of us there, but big hugs to everyone. Nice to have met 7-4-7, Niveole, and Oreo the cookie. Thanks to Heidi & Del for the last second passes.

Also add to le tracklist (dunno which mixes):
Technotronic- Pump Up the Jam (w/a SERIOUS "Can u feel it?" buildup- INSANE!!!)
Age of Love- Age of Love
Ernesto vs Bastian- Dark side of the Moon
Yazoo- Situation
Deep Dish- Say Hello
Police- Roxanne

and some song that went: "I just called the police..."

News alert:
"I Just called the Police" is the new "Someone fucked my Washing Machine".
