so i just woke up from an amazing dream with a nose bleed. dehydrated, i guess. i go to the bathroom, jam toilet paper up the left nostril, it begins to flow from the right. so right now, my nose is stretched to capacity. anyone have any tips to get rid of em? slylee?

its actually not smart at all to plug your nose with tp.

higher chance of it satying up there meaning if wprst case u have to get an operation it makes things more difficult.

I took a full course in wilderness first aid. i know what to do if you get shot in the chest in the middle of the forest.

Surely you being in the army.. tyhey dont teach you this sort of thing?

hold your nose at the bridge (between your two eyes) put lots of pressure and ice if there is pain, and wait it out.

if bleeding continues call 911 lol.

You're prolly gonna die you freaking haemophiliac.

well its called a sucking chest wound. we are assuming that the bullet punctured your lung.

so first, rip up a t shirt into long strips, isnt that hard if you have a knife, and you never go hiking without a knife, then i would take a plastic bag, or something plastic and place it over the would, covering up the hole, sealing it, and with 4 of the t shirt stips i would make pads around the hole, and then uuse the other strips to keep pressure n those 4 pads keep them in place. its quite a process, but after practice, it can be done in under 10 mins properly.

if the wound hasnt punctured a lung, things are much easier, and the whole plastic bag thing can be edited out of the forula.

its best to see it done, rather than read it.

A shotgun blast to the face wouldn't require any medical attention. You'd be dead.

i leared this from my uncle who used to box

take a piece of toilet/tissue paper, and roll it up to about half the size of a cigarette in all dimensions

then place it between your upper lip and your gum.

should strop the bleeding quite quickly.
