I think almost everyone lost power. I talked to Eric and he said it may be a while before power is restored.

Hope all FLTAs got through the wrath of Wilma unscathed! I was reading up on the aftermath of the hurricane and it all just seems terrible!

Best wishes...

Hey guys...Just wanted to let you all know that the hurricane down in the Kendall area was a bitch. Everyone mentioned Naples, Fort Myers, but the brunt of the storm was actually in Dade, Broward, WPB and the keys even got screwed. I just got to Naples where my sister has power here but early estimates were it might take up to 4 weeks for everyone to get power there. I'm so happy I went to see Sander...take care everyone and hope everyone else came out alright.

Posted by Freek096 on Oct-26-2005 04:27:

I'm good here in Hialeah, no problems.

Posted by mdamon7278 on Oct-26-2005 04:41:

Yeah I made it through it all yah, quite fun if u asked me, I was down in miami beach the nite it hit and came back to fort lauderdale and the place was chaos, no lights, tress, lights, signs, cars, boats, unreal, power will be restored sooner or later, but hopefully the rest came out scratch free

Posted by ambs on Oct-26-2005 05:44:

Reporting to you LIVE from the darkness which we call Hialeah/Hialeah Gardens. We have no power, no phone, no DSL, no cable, nothing! All we got is nice cool breeze and a generator which seems to cut off whenever it feels like it. The weather is nice, no tv, DVD's or computers to keep us entertained while FPL works hard to restore power. This is Mr. Groove Eric reporting live

Wow, this storm caught many off guard, including our family. We were able to stock up with some essential supplies the day before the storm hit, and good thing we did. I had to drive all the way up to Orlando Tuesday to get a generator since we got word from some city official and FPL crew that power will be at least 1 week before it comes back on. The main line which feeds our neighborhood basically snap into pieces. I got some pics I took with my cell phone that I'll post up in a few if my laptop battery doesn't die out. All I can say is...

F*CK YOU WILMA!!!!

In other news....we plan on throwing a little post-hurricane party sometime tomorrow or Friday. We got the generators ready to go. Something to take our attention away from all this crap; good times and good tunes to come soon More info TBA. Peace!

ERIC

ft lauderdale is all fucked up.

having no electricity wasnt too bad b/c it wasnt ridiculously hot this time, but having no water FUCKING SUCKS. so me and danny fled to kissimmee yesterday, to shower, load up on dry food and water, and look for gas cans (btw, there are NO gas cans anywhere in kissimmee). our jobs are cancelled til further notice b/c of the curfew and mine still doesnt have power, and we are out here going broke on our little mini-vacation. saw the lines off the turnpike to get gas yesterday, every one all the way to kissimmee was over a mile long. i guess we are going to have to wait in it sooner or later. we would stay out here longer my 3 cats are at home and i need to make sure they are ok, so i guess we might head back tomorrow. back to sitting in the dark eating cereal and playing Uno until the power comes back, whenever that is, lol.

hope everyone else is ok.

Alive and kickin' bitchesss!!!
DrillYou & MJM420 are doing good. Playing dominoes at my house
as a matter of fact....while i'm here at work. Bitches.
My job has industrial generators so these mo' fo's were ready.
Yes, KENDALL got a lot of debris & down trees, lots of power & phone
poles are down in the HORSE COUNTRY area.
No gas anywhere!! Closest I saw, was a huge line (min 3 hours) on
87th AVE and NW 25 st. I think Sam's Club may also have gas but you
need a membership to buy gas. WTF??
They expect at least a week if not two before power comes back
in my area. Fawkin' sucks but I got my chrons & whisky to hold me out.
A post hurricane celebration sounds like heaven!
I'm willing to help out with some $$$$ for the gas on the generators.
Party on!!!
