Valentino Kanzyani... Worth buying?

Rock The Discotheque
Rock The Discotheque Vol. 2
Intecnique: A Continuous Mix By Valentino Kanzyani

Which mix is the best and worth buying the most (in your opinion)?

Thanks. =)

Valentino rocks. Just got a live set from him @ Club Paradiso in Greece. Great stuff.

is the hawtin one minimal tho ? if not then it'd be worth it, but if it is, then it's totally along different lines to the VK one, making a comparison hard

Kanzyani is pretty sick if you like that thick driving techno. Don't know if that's what you're looking for, but it's what he spins.

Nueva York is massive

I do. I went to one of his gigs and it was one of the craziest nights of my life. =)

Yup, it's as minimal as can be, making a comparison hard to do. If you had to pick only one though, Hawtin's one definitely gets my vote.

Even though I'm not into minimal, this one is blowing me away at the moment.. It's sometimes (especially in the beginning) more of a soundscape than a mix-CD, later on it becomes more like stripped down versions of some Border Community tracks, at least that's the feeling I get from it. Indeed totally different from the Kanzyani CD (judging from its tracklisting, haven't heard it yet and doubt I will at all).

Another plus of the Hawtin one: it comes with a DVD.
