What is the bizarest thing that you saw a DJ do?
I saw Westbam 2 times when he played here in Tallinn and at Mayday, he trying to spin with his elbow and even chin wich went seemingly well.
hmm, there was a picture floating around of tiesto standing on the decks or something, & reaching down to play with the mixer or something hehehe!!!

One of the bizarre things I saw was at Trance Energy february 2001: Mark Spoon was playing a great track of which I can't remember the name. Unfortunately, the vinyl-quality was really shit. So it went wrong two times. The crowd didn't like it and started protesting. Spoon didn't like that reaction and (with some great arrogance I've never seen) stopped playing the track, took the vinyl of the player and broke it with a look I can't descibe.
Asswhipper. Spoon up his ass. Don't like the guy.

Dressed in a policemans uniform shoving a rolling pin up his arse whilst doing the congo to the sound of "YMCA" by the Village People.
NOTE: some of the above statement may not be 100% true, in fact maybe even all of it is a complete load of made up bollocks.
did you guys ever see Mark EG spin. that guy is insane. i heard that one time he totally smashed a turntable (i didn't see it) and the same night he ate a record. well he like broke it up with his teeth. fucked up!!
on of my freinds dj's... he stood up on the table and tried to scratch with his toe's... i hate scratching... but it was funnie
Some DJ.. can't remember who.. threw a record into the crowd.. and hit an etard in the head with it (I don't think he did it on purpose...hit em in the head that is) I couldn't help but point and laugh... he didn't seem to mind though

I heard a dj that played in hong kong......threw a record out into the crowd but it hit a lady in the head and cut her. I've heard deejays getting crazy. like derrick carter.....being drunk.....sending the crowd into delerium and dancing with the crowd.

hehe. i saw him like.. more than a year ago now, he came to Toronto in 2000 i think. he was supposed to come back, or at least to ottawa (or somewhere, anyhow )) but he canceled, or something lol.
too bad. he was sick.
it doesn't cease to amaze me how many old gabbers are in here.

I just wanted to post here b/c it has somthing to do with DJ spinning and seeing them and all.. I saw Carl Cox spin this summer and he was haveing SO MUCH FUN! Sitting there in this chair mixing and scratching and doing some crazy ass shit.. never seen anyone sweatr more that he was it was the best. Plus he spun a SWEET set, everyone was going nuts.
i ve seen a carl cox live vid... his has alot of energy but how he is liek 300 pounds its crazy
