Will the Houston Texans win (2) games this year (2005) ?

seriously .. will they go 0-16 this year ??
they looked awful against the colts, and i heard rumors that david carr signed himself up for Rape Protection, because he was tired of getting raped and abused behind the line ..

Houston Texans remaining schedule :

vs. Cleveland
at Jacksonville
at Indianapolis
vs. Kansas City (another ESPN game .. oh what the horror those people that made the bookings did .. they probably got the fire after the executives are seeing what is happening to houston)

vs. St. Louis
at Baltimore
at Tennessee
vs. Arizona

vs. Jacksonville
at San Francisco

i say they will win this week against cleveland, and win against st louis (sorry members) .. texans go 2-14 this year ..

your thoughts .....

p.s. - the local exxon stations in my neighborhood are offering free coffee on mondays when the houston texans win a game on sunday ... ... i guess a lot of pissed off people around here, because they cant get their free coffee ..

[edit]
the texans beat the browns in an awful football game displayed by both teams ..

so ...
will the texans win 2 games ??

maybe they'll beat the 49ers. tough schedule though. it'd be funny if they didnt win any at all.

There's no appreciation for football in Houston right now. Everyone is rooting for the Astros right now.

After the World Series is over, the Texans will start winning.

Thumbs up

Hahhaa!

Me being from Houston, i think it be funny if Texans didnt win a single game this season.

You know for shits and giggles.

I hope they go 0-16... I think this week vs Cleveland and at San Fran will be the biggest threats. More than likely though, Cleveland will win this weekend and the last game of the season will be for the number 2 pick. Question is, who would they take with the pick? I still say that they should trade down for a few picks and gets tons of OL and maybe another receiver or a LB. But yes, I think that Houston will go 0-16

still cant believe they havnt fired Capers
highly possible theyll be like the 76 Bucs but I actually saw some life in them vs the Colts,I think they can give the Browns , Rams , and obviously san fran a game.
so my answer is nah, theyll go 1-15, 3-13 if they fire capers ....

oh and yeah Andre Johnson had high hopes for him this year but with Carr getting raped up the irectum and the injury hasnt helped. Its just a bad situation for everybody on that team now.

I agree. They've played well and will probably win a game or two.

I don't think theyll beat cleveland though. The Browns took the Colts to the limit in Indy. Well see tomorrow

I think Houston wins it today, dominick davis 105 yards rushing and 50 yds receiving with 2 td's(my prediction).Dilfer will throw 2 picks as well

Posted by Eddie N MIAMI on Oct-31-2005 00:36:

..........and the Texans win today
thread closed... haha

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Oct-31-2005 06:00:

one down ..

one to go ..

the texans i think will go 2-14 this year ..

in other news, the 49ers shock the bucs today ... looks like the 49ers and texans are duking it out for the "worst team in nfl" right now ..

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Nov-13-2005 03:03:

just to let you know ..

the exxon gas station that had the promotion of free coffee mondays if the houston texans win has graffiti all over their promotional signs .. seems not only the texans fans getting angry with the football team, but also the coffee-crazed maniacs who just want a free cup of coffee to start off the week ...

yeah seriously wtf ATL.

I think when Andre Johnson comes back for Houston they'll be improved enough to win at least one more game at home.

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Nov-29-2005 06:59:

the texans blew the game ..

they had a 21 point lead, and just handed the game to the rams in the 4th quarter ...

there goes my prediction the texans were going to beat the rams .. .... who knew a "harvard grad" would make dom capers look stupid ... hahahhaa ...

oh yeah ... up to date news with the exxon gas station ... no more houston texans coffee promotion .. they have pulled down all the signs and made a new sign ......

... "every monday, coffee 1/2 off" ...

Posted by Eddie N MIAMI on Nov-29-2005 07:03:

anyone else think Fitzpatrick could become another Kurt Warner, small school dude makin it big with the Rams, and pleeeeaaassse why didnt Matt Millen fire himself today

I think what i justposted belonged in the random thread but whatever right.

at this time of year they look awesome, but Bush will give them a whole new dimension the Texans can start off the season on a good note and not play meaningless games at the end
