Wtf.

Okay i dont hate disable people or something but this ticked me off today...

anyways, theres this rich def chick in my ecology class, and for some reason she can use her sidekick II phone. EVEN THOUGH SHE HAS A TRANSLATOR RIGHT INFRONT OF HER.

Not only is that annoying but shes an idiot...honestly, the teacher asks her in english class what a books theme was. the book was about a 12 year old girl taht loses her parents. and she says THAT HOMELESS PEOPLE ARENT STUPID?...wtf?

it also pisses me off that her excuse for not doing work is because shes def, i mean her god damn translator always goes with her and shes just talking to her boyfriend on her sidekick while our entire group works our asses off to get her project and test grade finished. when someone from our group asks the translator if shes going to help bring the animals back to their tanks shes like...she cant hear.

so i said, well she can see cant she? and she can read sign language? so why dont you just tell her to help bring the animals back into the water since its her grade so were not the only ones working?

the translator litterally howls at me ive never been so scared than that moment. she goes like WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? Im like what the hell are you talking about? HER ARMS ARENT BROKEN AND I DONT SEE HER WALKING AROUND WITH A CANE NOW DO I? YOU DONT EXPECT US TO DO HER TEST GRADE WORK DO YOU?

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO MOCK AND MANIPULATE A DISABLED PERSON?!"

"SHES TALKING TO SOMEONE ON HER DAMN SIDEKICK....."

"ITS FOR HER ENTERTAINMENT. SHE CANT HEAR!"

"BUT SHE CAN SEEE...SHE CANT HEAR THE BEEPING BITS COMING THROUGH THE SIDEKICK NOW CAN SHE? WE NEED HER TO CARRY LIVE ANIMALS FROM ONE TANK TO ANOTHER IS THAT THAT MUCH GREATER OF A STRAIN TO CARY BABY TURTLES FROM POINT A TO POINT B?"

"IM TELLING THE PROFESSOR THIS!"

"WELL....SHELL BE GETTING THE ZERO FOR A GRADE...GO AHEAD..."

most likely. i saw that he has pics of him grabbing other chicks on his myspace, all have a title except for the one of him and the deaf chick.

i think in a way the parents have some leway, the dad can rail the mom without disturbing the kids..

speaking of deaf girlfriends one of the kids on the show Weeds from Showtime had a deaf gf.

They would have all their convos on sidekick even when standing side by side. THe guy was too lazy to learn any ASL ( that's american sign language for you ignorant fools ) but slowly the mother and other people would know some bits and pieces of ASL and the guy was amazed cause he was utterly clueless.
