Beautiful title..

nice name

cool side-chaining, sounds like you had some fun with filters too

sounding clean and nice melodies as always. Quite a weird style though

Sounds awfully cool.

2 thumbs up for the bass, it does sound cool indeed. I don't know what genre to call this, but I would say it actually is a combination of house and trance... trance-house??

It is kinda short so it would be cool if you put more work to it and made it longer into maybe 7 minutes or something.

The synthwork is beautiful and it compliments everything well.

Mastering is about 95% perfect... just a couple small things I can't quite put my finger on and can't tell exactly what it is but it's basically well done and I'm just being extremely picky.

Great original track . I love it.

Incredible track...like this one a lot! Very original!

Thanx peeps! I actually didn't think anyone would like it... Heh, because this is not my style at all.. Just an experiment Normally, I produce melodic uplifting stuff.

Vocals will be added to this track soon. My own vocals But I will add vocoder to them to make them sound funky!

Oh, and J.L, I'm not a fan of long, boring tracks. So, I made this one short and tried to make it somewhat interresting. Airplay-friendly

Yeah I thought it was coo, even though I mostly listen to uplifting melodic stuff too. Awesome track title btw.

Hey Alex,

I have not been a fan of your previous tracks because they did not have the atmosphere I liked nor the professionality

This track however, a completely different style and it ROCKS. That bassline is smooth as hell. You have succeeded in making a clubtrancy dancefloor hit and I really think it is off the hook. Right fro the start it is making me bounce haha.

Thanks for sharing this, I totally love it!

Hi Alex

very strange stuff. I like the bass and kick. Percussion is cool. the track has potential but i hate to admit sounds slightly cheesey. I luv the bass and the melody going jus there is sumthing. Great idea never the less.

Keep it up.

Hi Alex,

This rocks! what a groovy bass line.. funky shit

It gets a bit repetitve though.

But the funkiness makes up for it!

I'd love to hear more stuff like this from you,
Trev

B ENNI : great song, wicked bassline, bit repetitive its true, but vocals would kick work it

thanks for the dl.

Very nice track. Very puncy bassline. Like the atmospheric feel to it. Could add another synth into it so it doesn't sound too repetitive. What did u use in reason to make it?

I'd suggest a powerful female vocal in it. The song is themeless.

Nice work on the bassline, bit stingy at a certain freq. Nice clubby experiment.

I personally think that the song sounds good vocal-less. I think there is enough interest with the unique bassline and the beeping melody, etc. without the needed aid of vocals. I think the little bit of background vocals in it are just right.

Just my two cents worth

No problem, mate I agree that it's a bit repetitive...that's why I made it so short...

You wanna know how I sidechained in reason?
Most reason-users doesn't know how to sidechain-compress. Actually, the compressor isn't used at all. This is what you do:
- Load a kick in the NN19
- Make a bassline....with the subtractor for example
- Then, connect a scream4 to the kick
- Create a Spider CV afterward, and then connect the auto CV from the scream4 to the Spider CV
- Now, connect the Spider CV output to the modulation input on the subtractor, where the bassline is. (normally amp level)
- Then adjust the modulation input knob... Around 14 should do it, I think..

If you want to sidechain the strings too, just add another scream4 to the kick, and then connect the new scream4 to a new spider CV. Then basically do the same with this.

OMG that's so well said, Jay !! I actually noticed that myself.. That it's themeless. So I guess vocals would add more feel to it Thanx for the feedback

Awesome! I'm a sucker for groovy funk so keep me posted on all funk developments of interest

There are some solid trance producers who are great at creating rockin beats and delicious sounds... there's huge potential for monster funk beats if they apply their skills in new & different directions.

Keep up the fine work!

Hey Alex - that bassline reminds me of some benni benassi tunes, only yours is more 'warm' sounding. Cool track indeed man, nice use of FX and filtering...I think it's fine the way it is though i could imagine vocals in it
