Be Cool! Soundtrack to YOUR life....

I know I'm not alone when I think that sometimes it would be cool to have a soundtrack to your life, like in a movie. Great music to accentuate every mood, emotion, and state of mind you can possibly produce.

The only problem, which I am sure some of you have also come across, is who will produce all of this music??? Who could possibly produce music for every emotion and all that? Either its not possible, or someone comes close. Whaddya all think?

I'd have to say Tom Twyker (Music for Run Lola Run) would allot good music for my life.... either him or AvB who also, when producing or spinning, seems to show a lot of different "emotions" in his music.

There are a ton others I guess I could list, but thats no fun, jost go for the BEST!

Later

I don't think that any one person could produce an entire soundtrack for all my emotions. Unless i did it myself of course

The only way to have a track to express your life it to produce it yourself therefore you will be reflected in it.

I think for me it would be Musix - Is this the way I feel.
I just don't know why. The track is sad in a way, but in the other way it's so uplifting that it could reflect all the joy in my life.

Dam, i couldnt say one producer, but if you gave me enough time i could make a list of tunes that fit my life. And what a huge rang of tunes that would be.

Posted by Raptor on Dec-28-2001 23:17:

i would hav to say alot of VDM's production will fit me. but mixin would hav to b armin since he puts so much into it. feels like ur soul is there everytime you listen.

hmmm beem talking about this one with my m8s a lot lately (Weird innit )
got to start with a non trance tune
Oasis - Live Forever (MTV Unplugged, Listen and you'll understand)
From here on in it's trance nearly all the way
Robert Miles - Children (I Loved this tune, even tho I was only 12)
PvD - For An Angel (on my mates CD, felt truely happy when i heard this tune)
ATB - 9pm (Til i come) (The Soundtrack to the best summer of my life)
Spiller - Groovejet (I know it's cheesy, but I had it months before it was released, and I honestly remember some of the best times of my life listening to this tune)
Planet Perfecto - Not Over Yet (Matt Darey Mix) (errm WOW)
Matt Darey - Liberation (Temptation - Fly Like An Angel) (Matt Darey mix) (My favourite tune ever, this tune does something to me, its like I'm actually in love with it, some ppl have got to be the same with some tunes )
Lost Witness - Happiness Happening (Lange mix) (hmmmm sweet)
Planet Perfecto - Bullet In The Gun 2000 (Solar Stone mix) (I remember bein on holiday listenin to Pete Tong
just cause he played it, it made me feel priveliged listen to it, one of the best tunes ever)
Balearic Bill - Destination Sunshine (Tiesto mix) (Listened to it goin to Spain, nuff said)
and I know I'm hammered, and i know ur prolly not that bothered what I like, but these are the tunes that have touched me the most, and i can't get enough of hearing them, and if u wanna complain PM me, so u don't ruin this thread

a good point... maybe it'd be more reasonable to ask who would mix/produce you life soundtrack.. then you could have all those songs you love now in there too!!

Yes, absolutely the same for me. I think mine is "4 Strings - Into The Night".

Posted by tranceaddict991 on Dec-29-2001 16:47:

hmmm.... hard to make one i can tell ya a bit of what would be in it.... uplifint trance... progressive trance... Korn ( i went threw a hard time and they seem to describe it best)but mostly uplifting trance cuz im happy with ym life.

I think Paul Oakenfold's Tranceport could be the soundtrack to my life. Pretty uplifting and high energy, but that depressing "Ascenion - Someone (Original and Slacker Vocal Mix)" is quite appropriately in the middle.

Posted by Pointy on Jan-04-2002 00:22:

would have to say Hybrid, Way out West and LTJ Bukem... especially his Progression Sessions Vol. 4 and 5... best jazzy dnb cds around... older AvB is sweet as well

Posted by SportTrance on Jan-04-2002 03:29:

Well, if there was a soundtrack to my life, Lord knows how many actual tracks it would be, well over 50...atleast.....

I can say PVD - Face to Face would be one of them.... just one of the millions of tracks that takes me back...

I could list them all, but that would take hours....
