You're both wrong, Gouryella have actually made remixes of both 1999 and 2000. The 1999 version is the best of 'em though.

Difference is binary finary is made up of 4 guys from the uk and gouryella was corsten and tiesto (till tiesto left about 2 weeks ago).

mind posting a sample of both remixes then?

i've come to believe that there is only one remix from gouryella and thats 1999 not 2000 but of course you can prove me wrong by posting two clips.

btw you do realize 1999 and 2000 are really just 1998 but renamed after each year and each remix. so you can see why its so hard for me to buy into the idea that gouryella made 2 remixes of the exact same track.

1998, 1999 and 2000 are 3 different singles!

Sounds like you know something we dont, i thought that there was only a couple of versions, but it wil b interesting to hear all these versions

Posted by reveal on Dec-29-2001 00:42:

what i mean is that the three tracks were released as different singles, even though they are "based" on 1998... but there are different remixes of each track, and as they are released on different physical records, released apart from each other, i consider them as three different singles

ok i guess we all have different standards of what we mean as singles.

perhaps you have misunderstood my post. it was a rhetorical question. there are not 3 different original mixes of this track.

personally i like the kaycee remix and the binary finary mix of that tune the best

Posted by TeKnoHe@d2025 on Dec-29-2001 03:35:

Ok, I think it was "2000" they remixed because 2000 wasn't released by Binary Finary, Gouryella and Dumonde just did remixes of it and labeled it "2000". I'm just going off of info that I heard, not sure if it's true though.

Cool

OK, I'm here to clear it up

I have 1998 and 2000 on vinyl, both on different labels.

They both have the same chord progression but different remixers. The tune name 1998, 1999, 2000 are just which year it was released/re-released, so NO Gouryella did not make 2 remixes, Snooper you probably have the original and Gouryella mixes because the original and the Gouryella mixes sound most alike. Personally I prefer the Gouryella mix, followed by the original, then the DuMonde, then the Matt Darey, then the Kay Cee, then the PvD.

let's clear some things up...binary finary was released on different label (ADR Germany, Prositiva, Kinetic, Aquarius, Orbit...)

the names are kinda confusing cause IE the Gouryella remix was released on positiva labeled as Binary Finary - 1999 (Gouryella Remix), but the german release of the gouryella remix on orbit records is called Binary Finary - 2000 (Gouyella Remix), so you can't say gouryella remixed 1999 and 2000...both sound the same

i have all remixes of binary finary on orbit records btw
