one they didn't mention but that my grandparents use them for is to protect your windows from birds flying by. attach a string to the disk and hang it from you evesthrough the reflection keeps the birds from flying into you windows.

We used to use them to play air type hockey in our residence hallways. Was great, quite incredible how well the manage to slide on carpet.
