Smile I am asking you plain and simple : ''Are you still down for a techno only thread ?''

The TECHNO thread!
Who likes techno/tech house here?
Swidish/german/minimal ect.
Reply!
If there is enough people we will form a thread about techno
discussing everything techno.
If not

Posted by jonSun on Nov-01-2005 07:33:

Im all for a Techno Only thread.

Posted by basd on Nov-01-2005 07:36:

There are already multiple threads on techno here.

Having said that, I wouldn't mind for an extra one though.

A techno thread would be key.

Yeah I love techno 2.
All sorts from Detroit to german
with a slight empasis on the Swedish sound.
Some of the stuff Beyer is making is really doing it for me right now.

For me its,

Gabriel Ananda

Alexander Kowalski <- his remix of la 11eme marche. WOW. still blows me away. I like the stuff he does with those fat synths.

Dominik Eulberg on the minimal scene. this guy is so hot right now.

(thats what I am listening to right now
''Der judaskuss des sonnentaus'')
Minimal is huge right now.Everybody is jumping on.
Its been a pipe dream of mine to one day go to germany and experience the
techno/minimal club scene.

Yes, that would be sweet.

Ive always enjoyed the more minimal stuff.

Pantytec, Akufen, Isolee..

I think mininal clubbing would be dope.

I've only experienced a few minimal livesets, and it's definitely not my cup of tea.. Sure, it's good listening music sometimes (the more melodic part anyway, I don't care for the glitchy stuff at all) but it just doesn't 'go off' enough for me to be proper party / clubbing music..

I'll take deep, dark and pounding techno over it any day.

Posted by Ian on Nov-01-2005 10:11:

good stuff ?

Voorn & Kowalski
Beyer, Hardcell, Grindvik & the Drumcode lot
Jesper Dahlback
Liebing & the more banging stuff
michel de hey

Posted by Ghostface on Nov-01-2005 10:11:

Yeah I'm in. I prefer the more banging techno ala Kanzyani, Bailey, Redhead, Hades, Delgardo, Fish, Karakasis etc.

Posted by noikeee on Nov-01-2005 11:25:

Joris Voorn
Alexander Kowalski
Funk D'Void
Vince Watson
Adam Beyer (at times)

are the 1337ness

not so much into the full on techno at the moment, but I enjoy music by richie hawtin, dirt crew, mathew jonson, john tejada, troy pierce, marc houle, m.a.n.d.y, ame, dj T, magda, justin maxwell, someone else, gabriel ananda, john starlight, matt john, einmusik, Jennifer Cardini, Dominik Eulberg, Freestyle Man, alex smoke, Robag Wruhme, sterac electronics, konrad black, ada, metope, michael mayer, superpitcher, Peter Grummich, Dj koze, Wighnomy Brothers, Hemmann & Kaden, Onur zer etc etc. Suppose it could be classed as minimal or tech/house. It's all good tho.

Takaaki Itoh - For more room section

Lovely minimal mix from Takaaki Itoh, couldn't stand this in a club but it's great for home / on the road listening.

Posted by Estella on Nov-01-2005 13:31:

I'm listening to on the way to school. I'll tell you what max speed I hit

Posted by Estella on Nov-01-2005 13:33:
