Misja Helsloot appreciation!!
He never gets the credit he deserves IMO. It's always been argued that he's not the greatest mixer, but I say this guy has had tracklists that could break walls down. I hope he never stops what he's doing because whenever you don't hear from him for a while, he comes back with a major mindblowing set.
*raises guiness* here's to a legend!
forbidden paradise 11:
capital:
miika kuisma - orion (misja helsloot remix):
he mixed some really really nice CDs such as:
In Trance We Trust 001
The Creation Day 1
Forbidden Paradise 10 - Djunggi
Capital
top stuff. propably one of the best DJs to come out of Holland.
To anyone who doesn't know who he is and wants proof of what I'm talking about, go to the live sets section and there is one of his sets there.
He's one of the better trance dj's around nowadays, should be getting a bit more credit for that imo.
are misja and ralphie b good friends? waht's their relationship if there's any?

Listened to a few of his sets, and in all honesty i ve herd better mixing however i remember the days when armin 1st started playing on a bigger scene, he wasn't mixing like he is now!
Give this guy time and it will improve i am sure, the tracklists are very nice and his production needs no change/improvement
Spot on! keep it coming.

I will add to this thread too. I still consider his ASOT XXL (95, I believe) to be one of Armin's better, if not best, guest sets of all time.

Yes, I saw Misja Helsloot here in Vancouver this year (or was it last
) Anyway, He fucking owned! I loved every track he played, adn who ever said he's not the greatest mixer... Screw that, Misja was pulling tricks out his ass where I sat there in awe wondering how he was doing stuff.
The club only had about 50-75 people, and I can't help but remember the first time Johan Geilen came to Toronto about 5 years ago and it was pretty much the same thing.
Flame me if you want, but I think Misja Helsloot is the next Johan Geilen. Johan came outta nowhere, just like Misja's about to do. Keep an eye out, because in about 5 years, Misja's gonna be headlining major events around the world.
GO MISJA GO!
