Who of these 4 high ranked Artists has made the best Mix-CD this year?

PoD2, but to be honest, all albums have their advanages and disadvantages.

I did not listen to the ferry corsten compilation (sorry if he lost my vote because of that), but of the other three I like PoD2 the most followed by ISOS4, whereas I listened to the ASOT2005 compilation just once (and never again since). Brutal ehh? AvBs ASOT2004 was much better...

From this list I'll vote for Ferry.

hmmmm tough choices

not going to vote on a particular album but rather on the disc from the album

ISOS 4 - disc 1
ASOT - Disc 2
PoD 2 - Disc 1
PassPort - Disc 2
Creamfields - disc 1

eventhough its not mentioned, i was a big fan of Miami 05

gah! good one. was a battle between ASOT and ISOS for me , but went with ASOT. even tho i have the USA release which doesn't have all the tracks. fucking' ultra. The mixing on ASOT was pretty slick i thought.

Well said, ASOT 2005 for me

Ferry Corsten (Creamfields 2005 / Kingdom of the Netherlands)

Posted by sstranger1 on Nov-17-2005 12:53:

1. PvD
2. Ferry Corsten
3. AvB
4. Tiesto

Posted by Groundhog Boy on Nov-17-2005 23:13:

Both of Ferry's CDs were better than the other 3. PvD's was next, followed by Armin, then Tiesto.

Note to Tiesto, if you're going to include the tracks that everyone else has on their comps that came out BEFORE yours, at least have superior mixing.

Also, how many of you that voted haven't heard all of the CDs, yet made your decision on the one or two that you did hear?

hu? why do you think so? I think most voters have heard this cds. you are on tranceaddict, not on some other big forum.. which albums, when not those, people should know here then?

PoD2 wins, ASOT came close.

POD2 sucked bigtime and was a major dissapointment. I didn't like the tracks on it and for me it's the worst of those 4.

Creamfields by Ferry was ok, But nothing more. I really like the Passport compilation. Many tracks is very good and expect from some in the beginning,

Though I'm not a big fan of Tiesto, I would like to give ISOS4 a little more cred because I liked it better than ASOT-2005.

ASOT-2005 was pretty boring, especially the first CD. Second is pretty decent and nothing more.

POD 2 followed very closely by Armin

One guy before I even posted commented that he hadn't heard either of the Ferry CDs. I think you'd be surprised at the number of people who have only heard a few of these rather than all 5. And I agree with you, if you haven't heard these ones, which ones have you heard. I'm not suggesting that there are a bunch of other trance comps out there that many people have listened to that you didn't list.

I own all but Tiesto's and Ferry's discs are the only ones that I listen to regularly.

It was a toss up betwen Armin and Ferry, but find Armin's mixing just flows seamlessly.

Ferry Corsten - Kingdom of the Netherlands

Isos 4 was a disappointment and I'm not into pvd. AvB's new bass porggish style hasn't grown on me yet.

Armin van Buuren. State of trance is not very melodic, but anyway I like it.

Posted by Ms.xTc on Dec-16-2005 01:04:

FERRY!!!!!!

Posted by Laszlo on Jan-10-2006 01:22:

Actually I did really enjoy ISOS4. ASOT2005 was decent as well. The others...meh...

Posted by The 3am Junkie on Jan-17-2006 09:30:

I liked all four of them, even if reviews aren't that great. My favorite is ASOT 2005 though.
