New November mix! 80 min. Trance | Tech Trance | Hard Trance

Hello TAs,

On the first of November I recorded a demo which describes exactly my preferences of trance. It moves from trance to techtrance and it ended with some hardtrance tunes. After you have heard this set, you know what you can expect on monday between 8 till 9 pm on Specradio! I hope you will all tune in weekly!

One time in a month I will reserve a monday for a 'guest dj'. So I am looking for Dj's who will play one hour during my show. Please PM me if you are interested.

Nice tracklist, I play every single one of those songs except for 15. Silent Elektra - For this moment (Jochen Miller Mix)[haven't heard that one yet].

shame it is very samey to every other up and comming trance dj these days (thats not a dig at you before you get all anal on me)

Well, I know that you have to distinguish from other trance djs, but it is difficult to find exeptional tracks to be not an 'armin clone' when you see it that way. I play less progressive tunes and more techy trance with a drive in it.

look beyond the labels which Armin plays music from. There are ALOT of trance music which never gets aired on ASOT.
Not that difficult actually.

You are right and I have a few, but there are also a lot which doesn't fit my preferences of trance. I am always curious to such tracks which never gets aired on ASOT or made by unknown artists.

On topic, people who wants to give me feedback on the mix?

Just listened to the mix, the transitions are really nice and smooth, track selection isn't exactly out of this world or unique but that's already been stated.

Still enjoyed it though.

When we say bout "armin clone" ...how? how can we get something really fresh.. if its not spin by world top dj.. making our own song? i guess if we can do our own song.. for sure.. it will be play by those top dj.. hehe

3. Kenny Hayes - Ibiza Sky (Alex M.o.r.p.h. Mix)
4. Armas - Angels and Demons (Carl B Mix)

At 19:30, in this transition, the timing was there, but i think that the armas track was brought in a little bit to high, on the highs and mids, it was kind of abrupt.

5. Precursor vs Frisky Warlock - Quotations
6. Hammer & Bennett - Language (Santiago Nino Dub Tech Mix)

this mix was definetly a banger!!!! I love the low rolling bassline in Language and it went in beautifuly with Quotations, good job on that one!!

9. Andy Moor - Halcyon (Alex M.o.r.p.h. Remix)
10. T.B.A. - S.O.S. (Sander Van Doorn Remix)

In this transition, S.O.S. came in really abrupt, and there was too much noise going on at 47:35, the bass from SOS was overpowering the the remaining melody of Halcyon, i didnt really like the way these 2 songs went together, at the point you mixed them at.

On the whole a good mix, and decent track selection, keep up the good work and keep playing with those EQ's to make your transitions as smooth as possible.

I know what you mean, but at this point I wanted to switch to a more energetic second part of the mix... Surprising act
