Do you listen to Reggae?
Hay it's the Kool-Aid man...LOL Now I know this is a trance forum but I just wanted to know if you guys liked reggae too? I like to listen to all kinds of music, anything I can dance to works for me. I heard this reggae album today while interning at Universal and I really liked it. It's by T.O.K, "Unknown Language" is the name of the album. Check out their myspace page www.myspace.com/tokworld take a listen and let me know what you think of the music, if you don't like it that's fine too!!! Thanks!!

Buffalo Soldier, Dreadlock Rasta:
There was a Buffalo Soldier in the heart of America,
Stolen from Africa, brought to America,
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival.

And the sound of "Buffalo Soldier" means the week is over, time to get high...
if there is one kind of reggae i'd listen to it'd probably be Lovers Rock. but only because it puts the gae in reggae.
on a serious note, i don't listen to reggae, but i like reggae vocals or vocalists in DnB/Jungle and other EDM. like that Shaggy fellow. the guy who sounds like there's a bullfrog living in his throat. or like in this electro track.
hmm...maybe it's not technically even reggae vocals. just a jamaican guy rapping will do. or is that what reggae vox are, just a jamaican guy rapping. or can a reggae track have a non-jamaican guy rapping on the track as well? Or...or...now i'm confused. all i know is jamaican guys make me hornay.
It is FRIDAY!!! that's cool that you listen to reggae to an open mind in music is always a plus!!! But reggae is it's own kind of music not really rapping cuz they have words that aren't in our english language. So it's it's own genre, I hope this makes sense
I'm sure Raggaeton (a hybrid of raggae and EDM, mostly preformed in spanish) would appeal to a lot of people on these boards.

no no sir, reggaeton is reggae with latin music influence, hence reggaeton. And the majority of the CD is reggae only 2 songs have reggaeton. Visit the website please

I like the reggae-type stuff Thievery Corporation does...reggae with a chilled out electronic vibe to it, excellent music to smoke and listen to.
