hi,

why is everyone remixing this singer? (or have remixed in the past)

I think there are only a few decent remixes but the majority sounds simply cheesy in my ears.

I mean there are better singers who not even get one remix, but if I look on ayu's discography, I see a big amount of cds released in the past..

ps: japanese lyrics sounds weird

most remixes that are being released now on drizzly is just old unreleased remixes. and why people remixed her songs, well avex (her recordlabel) decided to really have alot of remixes of her songs. and since avex thinks that standard epic trance is the best thing to label as trance for the japanese market they started to ask european & american producers for remixing.

I think they remixed her tracks cause the original tracks had electronic music playing.

consider ayu as the britney spears of japan or even whole of "eastside of asia" if you will and you can clearly see why they have put out 3 albums of remixes.
