-- The long ride home (need some help please!)

Invisible Grin

What's up everyone? I'm more of a luker than a poster on this board, but I need some help.

My friends and I travel to TO to party a few times a month and we have a wicked time. The only problem is the long ride home (an hour) riding in that car, sometimes feeling all sketchy and always supertired.

Now I know this a trance dominated board but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on some chill, light drum and bass/jungle, acid jazz tracks that I can burn on a disc to make that long ride home any easier.

Thanks

I like LTJ Bukem and John B or Omni Trio for some nice drum n bass that's light on the ears... other than that trip hop like Morcheeba or Massive Attack or Esthero or Herbalizer...

Or songs from Future Sound of London or Dj Food or Banco De Gaia Hm... there's nice lounge or chill out compilations as well like The Big Chill and Ohm Lounge there's so much right now so u got a huge selection!!

Err sorry I just read your post properly right now, for specific tracks Try Dj Quicksilver's African Rain, Taste Experience's Summersault, Future Sound of London's Papua New Guinea, John B's Imagine, Aquasky's Kauna, Thievery Corporation's Shoalin, St. Ettiene's Hug My Soul, Art of Noise's Moments in Love, to name a few...

latez...

Talking

Everything under the Good Looking Record label will make your long ride home more relaxing . Anything ambient or more downtempo would put you to sleep behind the wheel =P.

LTJ Bukem all the way for chill DnB. I think that it might put me to sleep though (the LTJ Bukem - Ministry of Sound 2000 liveset, use to help me go to sleep when I just could not) but it is a very good set. I think you should be able to find it on Napster

chill

My suggestion would be to play some progressive, like Digweed's new Global underground. There is nothing better than coming home from a party with some sweeeet sweeeeet, calm progressive tunes.
Peace,
Steve

Aboslutely one of the best chill out and car trips is the KLF's - Chill out CD! Its basicly a 74 min long song that is about a road trip in the american mid-west... Amazing stuff Try to d/l off napster, I've seen the whole CD available for d/l..

Cheers,

Thor.....
