I download a lot of thoroughly enjoyable sets from the dj promotion forum here on TA. But maybe they aren't considered 'livesets?' I dunno.

Also, when I first found this site, I dled some livesets (old now) from here:

You can find links to sets for download in some TAs sigs, too.

Check the dj/artist's website. Sometimes they have sets available for dl.

Otherwise, I guess you pay for them. Somewhere.

I used to forget about all the sets i listened to but now i just record the sets while im listening to them with streamripper 32 or a similar stream ripper just search in google.

To to save using double their bandwidth though id'e just record the set then listen to it, its the same as listening to it just not at the presant time !

I recall Tiësto mentioning that he does not dislike file sharing, rather he thinks it's a good way to spread the word.
Since most DJ's say they don't play and produce for the money I guess it's pretty much okay. They DO earn alot anyway.
Don't take a leak on me now whenever you meet me IRL, that's just something I know he said, at least something like that.

Try http://www.djmixes2k.com they have tonnes of livesets and radio shows. Just make sure you know your stuff with bittorrent, they are pretty strict on people that just leech

yeah... i was thinking about the same think, i don't know why people drop link to this thread when somebody is asking about livesets, they ain't protected by coprights, so you do not brake law when you are d/l them, and it's nothing about being leecher or sth..

That's a grey area. Some will argue that they are, some will argue that they aren't.

Ah, thx for The Mixing Bowl. I see they have Giorgio Ponticelli presents - Frequencies 6 November 2005, luckily. 'Cause I never got the whole set.
Thx mate!

Can anyone recommend any new deep house sets that are good and possibly where to get them

Indeed. The site is full with BBC radio shows. But you can also argue that the BBC granted a silent permission to host them. In fact, you can for example download the same radio shows from the BBC website (but only for the same week in which the show was broadcasted). So I would say that it is a light-grey area (almost white indeed) rather than dark-grey or black....

So I will assume that "The Shadow Rising" will not lock this thread as long as noone comes up with illegal stuff.

I use Screamer Radio to record, and quality is consistent as live streaming.

Where did you get this from? How are they not protected by copyrights when they're filled with copyrighted material?

I really do not give a shit whether you want to download or share music (coz let's face it, we've all done it) but this is not a place for file sharing as has been clearly stated numerous times so just keep it out of here.

Edit:
Stuff from BBC & sets shared by the DJ himself are a different matter altogether, obviously...

just make sure to leave your bittorrent client seeding for awhile, to keep your ratio up.
