New label!! Need talents!

Hello everyone!

I am proud to announce that I am putting on feet a new digital-only label. It will have massive djs support, and the catalogue will be available on most of the important mp3 stores.

www.moonrising-records.com

We are currently looking for producers with talent, so if you think you have what it takes, you can send a link to your demos at [email protected] with the subject Demo: ''your aka - your song''

Looking froward to hear from you guys!!

i wonder what the use is of ANOTHER mp3 only label, they are popping up like mushrooms...

but those vocals in that first release from yourself are quite nice, dont really like the way the rest of the tune is going, has this slightly cheezy melody going on for some reason. I wonder who is gonna do the remix?

The ''use'' of antoher digital is simple: there is so many new producers that have so much talent, but there is not enough label for them to grow...

You and me had the chance to be signed by good labels, but not everyone has the chance to slip in...

The first release is from me, and I am currently talking to 2 known producers for the remixing...

Please, please don't take this the wrong way.

But how are we to know that this is valid and not a scam?

I'm not trying to be a party pooper, I just don't wanna go handing my tracks over without knowing what I'm getting in to.

Well, it'S true that sometime it,s not easy trusting a new little company like that...

But I can assure you that I am trust worthy, I know a lot of people on the trance scene, if you doubt, you can ask Dj Precision, Icone, Samuelzone, Woody van Eyden, Manuel Le Saux... that's just some of them.... maybe you can ask them reference....I don't know.....

bruni can be trusted, im quite sure about that , heard some of his productions played in shows from manuel le saux and pascal

Well handing over tracks surely does not equal handling over any rights. Anyone tries to make a run with your tracks, they face legal consequences. If you take some precautions. Which you should anyway.

Thats like the standard "slogan" of all known and unknown labels.
However many of em pull out shit anyway

either im blind or its just not stated anywhere what genres ur lookin for...well?

Posted by Tygon on Nov-09-2005 19:35:

Can you give examples of some mp3 stores you're currently distributing on? I haven't seen the label before :s

Posted by B.r.u.n.i. on Nov-09-2005 22:14:

To answer most of your questions:

- It's more a melodic, uplifting and/or powerful trance label.
- I never ask for a good .wav master of tracks before I hand out the contract.
- I know many digital labels puts out any shit they can, but if you go on the website, in the releases sections, you can hear some previews, it's awesome stuff.
- The reason you can't see any releases on any mp3 stores is because it's a totally new label, the first release is in january. But so far I received the deals from Audiojelly and Trackitdown...

no, there is easily a sufficient number of labels out there already. in fact there are too many labels and the result is loads of random small labels that no one has heard of signing whatever they can get their hands on, even if its mind numbingly average and boring. it's contributing to the destruction of the electronic dance music scene as wel know it. its too easy to set up a label these days, everyone is jumping on the band waggon, its starting to get very very annoying. i cant judge your label because i havnt heard any of the releases you have lined up so dont take this personally, its just the way i feel in general. i wish you luck.

Well said Mike.

Posted by staticblue on Nov-20-2005 12:03:

i have to agree with Mike.

Posted by Subtle on Nov-20-2005 12:13:

agrees Mike, if I would have had enough talent to get signed i wouldnt go for any label that doesnt press vinyls..

ur track is doing good at Juno btw Mike..
