What do sex & skiing have in common?

no really...i would like your input

i couldn't copy/paste before this part of the convo cuz i had closed the window. but basically we were talking about a man being a stripper and/or an escort and a woman doing it. i was saying it's different for guys...

Jamie says:
but ur a dude

Moral Hazard says:
so what? it's okay for a man but not a woman......

Jamie says:
yea...double standard. i'm OK with it

Moral Hazard says:
.... that shit don't work with me
Moral Hazard says:
I don't do double standards. but then again, I don't believe in morality, which is what most double standards are based on

Jamie says:
ok, so let's say i start fucking all these guys i meet at clubs, and i'm so hot and i'm so good in bed, that all of them keep calling me. they just think i'm so fucking cool and hard to get, they're dying to hang out with me and get some more of my time.

Jamie says:
so what does that make me?

Jamie says:
a player?

Jamie says:
or a slut with intimacy issues...

Moral Hazard says:
I suppose it depends on your motivation.....

Jamie says:
let's say i pride myself on screwing as many men as i can

Moral Hazard says:
.... if you're doing it because you like sex and moreover like sex with multiple partners then it's all good and I'd say you're just being you

Moral Hazard says:
...... if you're doing it because you're looking to replace some missing love in some aspect of your life then I'd say you need to talk to someone

Moral Hazard says:
.... if you pride yourself on screwing as many men as possible then I go with player

Jamie says:
yea yea

Jamie says:
well too bad the rest of society doesn't agree

Moral Hazard says:
Hey, one of my closest friends has had nearly 100 men.... I don't hold any qualitative judgement to that

Moral Hazard says:
it is too bad

Moral Hazard says:
people have this fucked up morality regarding sex.... yes it's great in a strong loving relationship and can do a lot to further such a relationship

Jamie says:
it's a sacred thing..i dont think u should just go fucking anyone to get off

Moral Hazard says:
.... but it's also pretty good as a recreational activity

Jamie says:
it's dangerous and it complicates things

Moral Hazard says:
.... you don't look down on someone who skis at a lot of different mountains do you?

Jamie says:
but hey, if u are ok with giving your body to just anyone, then that's ur busines...and i don't mean "YOU" as in u personally...i'm saying generally speaking

Jamie says:
HAHAH u did NOT just make that comparison

Jamie says:
that was ridiculous

Moral Hazard says:
It's not dangerous and if both partys are okay with it then it doesn't complicate anything

Moral Hazard says:
why was that ridiculous....

Moral Hazard says:
.... if you don't equate sex with love then sex is just an activity that people enjoy doing

Jamie says:
i'll answer that in a minute...i have to get the mail...

Jamie says:
and think about what i want to say in response

Moral Hazard says:
I've had sex with lots of women I care nothing about just because I like the act

Moral Hazard says:
I'll wait.....

Jamie says:
skiing is an activity that doesn't involve the exchange of bodily fluids and emotions.

Moral Hazard says:
sex doesn't have to involve either of those things

Jamie says:
i'm creating a thread about this

Moral Hazard says:
otay

Moral Hazard says:
I predict the bulk of my day will be spent in that thread

Jamie says:
lol

To sumerize..... Jamie holds the position that sex with multiple indescriminate parters is wrong.... my position is that there should be no morality attached to sex. She claims it is an emotional act, I claim it can also be a purely recreational act. If looked at as a recreational act then there should be no morality about multiple partners.

When everything is all said and done, just be safe, responsible and have fun!

it's really not...but that's cool if you don't have the brain power.

Posted by nchs09 on Nov-07-2005 18:03:

i really dont have the brainpower.

and ya i dont htink sex is attached to emotions most of the time for guys but for girls yes. go figure... i guess that is one of our differences.

Not true at all. Both people have to know why they are having sex with eachother. Otherwise then yeah, it could go either way for the guy or girl with your statement. But I have to say, nothing beats sex with someone you absolutely love.

ok i think i do need to read it... but both poeple have to know why they are having sex with each other.. but does it have to be because of the same?

Posted by trewqy on Nov-07-2005 18:07:

Sex cannot be equal as an act of love.

If you seriously think thats the case, ur not ready for sex in the first place. It will just complicate things and you wont know how to handle the relationship properly.

Either way, you wont get a "correct" answer from both sexes..cause obviously both sexes have different views on the matter.

Posted by Moral Hazard on Nov-07-2005 18:07:

I think the real question Jamie was looking to ask is whether or not there is something morally objectionable to a person having sex with multiple partners with no emotional attachment and additionally, if there is/should be a double standard in this regard.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Nov-07-2005 18:08:

I just think it is better for both people to know. Otherwise feelings get hurt and drama starts.

What does that mean?

Posted by DjConfessions on Nov-07-2005 18:11:

fuck the rest of the thread, lets talk about having sex with 100 partners

Posted by trewqy on Nov-07-2005 18:13:

That means that ur having sex with someone BECAUSE you wanna have sex with him/her.Nothing else. Lust takes over and the whole act is done with 20 mins. DO u really think sexual intercourse = showing your loved ones you really love him/her?

I think love goes deeper than just sex itself.

- there is a double standart
- there shouldn't be a double standart
- there isn't anything morally objectionable as long as the other person isn't being used, thinking there is an emotional attachment from the other end

Interesting. The problem is, as you two have shown us...everyone's definition of sex differs. To me, it can be several things, depending on how its done...and there are several kinds of sex. But there is definatley a difference between getting trashed and hooking up with some random and fucking the crap out of them, and having passionate sex with someone you love, in which sex can become one of the highest acts of love and affection.

Both are fun. Which has more meaning? Thats up to you to decide.

But I'll take #2 over #1 anyday...

Posted by nchs09 on Nov-07-2005 18:23:

poeple would call her a slut. but i mean i don tthink there is really anything THAT wrong with it.

Posted by Slylee on Nov-07-2005 20:19:

actually, i thought it was ridiculous that moral was saying that sex is just like skiing.

It is though.... both are athletic recreational activities that people participate in primarilly because they enjoy the feeling derived from them.

if i owned a strip club id be getting more sex then all of TA put together

Posted by Moongoose on Nov-07-2005 20:55:

It is just like skiing. Imaginethis scenario. You are speeding down the slope (its still early in the morning and not many people are there yet so you can go ful speed) and suddenly you find yourself on and ramp which some fucking kids built yesterday while their parents were drinking tea with rum at the lodge and not paying attention to the little bastards ( ). Now you are airborne, out of control and heading at high speed towards thata patch of trees on the side. Now imagine you having sex with someone in the living room and the other persons parents, which left on a two week wecation 5 hours ago suddenly turn up at the door (reason: bus accident, trip postponed for a week ).

You get the same Oh god no jesus titty fucking christ fuck fuck fuck im screwed feeling in both situations

Ok that wasnt wery funny so seriously now, i know two women who had over 100 sex partners but that doesnt make me feel any different towards them. They are both my wery good friends and im fine with it. They are hot enough to pull it off and if they like doing it i have no right to say anything about it.
