Miami, FL (November 2, 2005) � The world famous Ultra Music Festival (UMF), the premier dance music event in the country, will take place on Saturday, March 25th, 2006 in downtown Miami. Returning for the third straight year as the only Official Music Festival of the 21st Winter Music Conference (WMC).
The 8th installment of the Ultra Music Festival has already kicked off by confirming Grammy nominated British electronic rock band THE PRODIGY as its headliner. Returning electronic music sensations Paul Oakenfold and Erick Morillo will also perform at UMF 8.
Multi- Platinum act, THE PRODIGY announce their return to the US next spring as the headliner of Ultra Music Festival 8 in Miami. The emergence of The Prodigy on the mainstream radar stands as a defining moment in the history of popular music. The fact that Prodigy will be headline Ultra 2k6 is huge, No other electronic dance music band in the world will ever reach in there level, They helped put electronic dance music on the map and into the mainstream.

At this point I plan on going. Chyeah! I remember having their Fat of the Land cd back before I even knew what EDM was. Breathe owned me back in the day and still does.
