Why the hell are they not?

I rang the people who i brought it off, and they said send it back up and we'll fix it. But It'll be 2 weeks with out a mixer plus about $30 for it to be sent..

Can I fix it myself, with out breaking it!! Or shall i just send it back?

Make sure the trim levels aren't turned down, also make sure you are selecting the proper lin inputs. We had the exact same problem one weekend with a DJM 600, turns out it was the trim levels.
