PVD in New York, who's comin' with me?

Hey boys and girls,
I'm heading to NYC on Thursday night and on Friday I plan to see Paul Van Dyk at Roxy. Anybody going to meet me there?

Myself, Laura (Irishaddict), Josh (Shanny), Frankie (Cuzo) & Chris(Endlesswave) will be driving up. We're also meeting up with Kelly (Yankeebaby) and Fran (Avikon - I think?) and some of my other friends.

still kinda undecided on this one... I think its going to be a last minute call for me. I've got a ton of work this week and next that is stressing me out, so getting that done would make feel a lot better about going. I need to head down anyway to start the moving process and start clearing my place up here out.

I fully intend to mooch off my parents while in town. It's always the best way to keep costs down... and then take food with you for the drive/week forthcoming.

Just read this except from an interview with PVD, in the New York forum:

(InternetDJ) You have a night at the Roxy coming up in November 11 2005, any hints as to what's going to be in your set you'd like to share or is too early to tell?
(Paul Van Dyk) I don't really have a worked out set. I have a very clear idea of what I'd like to bring across and the songs that I really like to play. Especially in New York, I always play a long set and you cannot plan that really because you never know how the night will go and what the atmosphere is like. If it's too warm you have to slow it down somehow. So I never know. I'm definitely excited, and I'm sure there will be a few New York PVD classics, and some of the stuff people always ask for from the good old Twilo shows. Its going to be a mixture of new things and things we're excited to listen to again.

Sounds like its going to be so worth the drive down! I have been listening to PVD's Politics of Dancing 2 for the last 2 weeks, hope in plays a few tracks off it, its sooo good. Plan on taking to the party with me for him to sign.
