Chakra - Opacity

Original Mix: Surrounding intro, deep and dark melody, suggestive vocals and emotional ending. Brilliant. 8'5/10

Overlooked tune, available on White Label Republic and Revelations, don't know anything about its release (Hommega?).

yeah this have been mentioned alot in the White Label Republic thread. Definetly one of the highlights on the CD.
This deserves a release on 12" but unfortunatly Hommega only seem to do CD releases. We can only hope another label picks it up.

So let's hope they don't include the crappy G&M Remix

G&M Project is total garbage in comparison with the original

Trance has come a long way from it's peak and I'm really happy to see it back in it's top tone here.

Hopefully this track gets a bit more attention and some of the newer guys can take notice on how trance could be even in these days.

What I mean is that this track has no formula of the past years, no major super saws, no huge buildups, no straight c major's and flats, just a subtle, like it should be. I actually wouldn't be suprised if this track was done years ago and is just now making a release because anyone can pin point that feeling you got / get from the older trance productions.

Hope to see more of this kind of work in the future.

Rodas

The original is excellent indeed, stood out for me on White Label Republic.

possible tune of the year material

Not bad. In fact I kind of like it. Finally something off the average Armada sound I've heard more than enough of lately.

Its pretty good but Im not quite as nuts about it as some of you are

This needs something like a Derek Howell mix I think. Good song though.
