Will the Indianapolis Colts lose a game this year (2005) ?

just like my houston texans questions, but the opposite

will the indianapolis colts lose a game this season ? can they go the ultimate 16-0 and erase eddie's dolphins from the record books ?? can you believe they went 0-5 during preseason ???

remaining schedule :

=========================================================

[done] Nov 13 Houston
[done]Nov 20 @Cincinnati
[done]Nov 28 Pittsburgh

Dec 4 Tennessee
Dec 11 @Jacksonville
Dec 18 San Diego
Dec 24 @Seattle

Jan 1 Arizona 1:00pm

=========================================================

a really good game to watch is nov 20 vs cincy . cincy's corners can really put the lockdown on harrison and wayne, so indy will have to rely on edge to win . (cincy currently 8th in defense passing %, 1st in interceptions (20), 1st in defense passing rating, and 3rd in passing yards per attempt (6.06) )...

if indy eeks out of that game, next game is another MNF game against the steelers, with b-roth probably coming back by that time, and during thanksgiving weekend, so there may be some lackadasical thanksgiving blues running the fields ???

december's schedule doesn't look any easier .. titans can pop up anytime, jaguars look strong at times, chargers are trying to get a berth into the playoffs, seahawks look good, and arizona is pmmmgfff...

i say indy goes 12-4 this year. good start, but these next games look real difficult.

i will play swami, and say they lose to the bengals, steelers, chargers, and cardinals ( and since they lose to the cardinals, they lose home field to the broncos, and get bumped to the wild card game, since they lost to the bengals ).

I say Jacksonville gives them their first loss

Cincy, Jags, Steelers, or Diego choose 2 and their are their 2 losses for the year.

Titans...

We'll see what happens on there next game, But I think the Dolphin's undefeated record will stay regardless if another team goes undefeated, If thats the case, History will tell about 2 NFL teams that went undefeated. There not just gonna concentrate on the current just like that, They will also mention the past also, History would tell about the first team to ever go Undefeated and that will be my Dolphins, So I'm not worried about that.

I say they lose 2 games, maybe even 3. And they dont win the Superbowl or even make it to the Superbowl. Denver for AFC in the big game.

if Denver can get over the hump of beating Peyton in the playoffs

who remembers that game last year ?

but last year's broncos is way different than this year ... they have the cleveland browns as their defense, champ bailey (hopefully 100% by january) at corner, and the two headed running backs ..

this afc looks really iffy right now .. can't judge who is going to the super bowl .. cant judge indy when they have played the 24, 20th, 29, 30, 31, and 32nd ranked defenses in the league the past 6 weeks , outside baltimore and jacksonville, which they struggled offensively in those games ...

biggest test is after houston, the next 4 of 5 weeks .. pitt, cincy, jax, and the superchargers.

I think the Bengals will beat them....and Chad Johnson will break out one of his new celebrations and then mark no on the who is covering 85 in 2005 chart

Posted by tribu on Nov-10-2005 03:07:

14-2 with loses to Pittsburgh and the Jaguars in the Ville.

Cinci has looked good so far, but living in Ohio, I get to see them almost every week. They're playing well, but they have looked like shit against the only two teams they have played (Steelers and Jaguars). They're definitely benefiting form a weak schedule.

i love that chart.

at least chad johnson's antics is funnier than t.o.'s antics ..

chad johnson's "please don't fine me" sign > t.o.'s sharpie
joe horn's cell phone > t.o.'s sharpie + ray lewis impersonation

even if they go undefeated in the regular season they still have to get over the hump of choking in playoff games to actually go undefeated.
their remaining schedule is tough so I dont see them winning all of them.
will lose to Pitt, Jaguars and seahawks

They'll run the tables in the regular season, but go down to the Broncos in the playoffs. You heard it here first. Teh Snake > Teh Peyton.

Hahaha man, I love your avatar.

Im guessing Pittsburgh will knock off Denver and go to the big game for the AFC. I like Dallas coming out of the NFC, beating Carolina in the championship game. As long as their defense keeps coming to play, they should be able to make the big One

Dallas? No way man. Carolina has a big chance to win it but im also favoring Atlanta for the win of NFC.

no way.
carolina knows how to handle michael vick .. they know he can't pass the ball, so john fox is going to be throwing schemes at him like crazy .. when vick learns how to hit finneran, then things may be different .. atlanta's defense is good, but it won't carry the team to the super bowl ..

atlanta is missing one big wideout ..

Yeah your right aswell. I mean Vick is a great player..but he isnt complete like you said so I guess Carolina is a big favorite for the NFC..but I mean its a wide open race for the title. You never know in football.

Can Atlanta still get T.O.? Especially if they work out some kind of compensation deal with Philly...the Eagles could release him and Atlanta could pick him up. T.O. has said hed like to play wioth Vick and T.O. could really hlep a young receiver like Michael jenkins (Ohio State, woot!) grow up.

Dallas can definitely handle Carolina, especially if they get an injury or two...remember what happened last year?

So...Who will score more points this weekend? Indianapolis' defense or Houston's offense?

...

as long as he didn't say a teacher like freddie mitchell and his championship belt ways ... hahhahahahaha .... ..

but t.o. could be a good teacher if he could keep his emotions to himself .. i still can't believe he has 100 career touchdowns ..

Posted by tribu on Nov-14-2005 03:15:

It's not just learning from the guy, but being another receiver on the field when TO is out there gives you alot more oppurtunities to get open and make plays when teams are concentrating on him.
