Banging Gate 2005

The lineup reads as DJ Dave Goldman, Sanfields, Jarroish, DJ Monkfish, Gibberish, Trackman and DJ Kingston Rule.

All no name DJ's the door tax is $20.

The club has an 700 capacity.

The DJ's are trance DJ's.

Every body is raving about how good a night it will be.

Questions.

1) Would you go?

2) What makes it a good night?

Was just wondering what makes a good night if you are not there to see a particular DJ.

I wouldn't call the Obsession guys no names anyway.

I was expecting answers like the tunes being played atmosphere etc etc.

to answer your questions,

1) damn yes fvck id go. you wouldnt believe me if i told you how much more than $20 ive spent going to watch same/similar DJs in my short career of melb trance slut.

2) GOOD music. cant stress this enough. if youre going out primarily to hear music you like, actually getting to hear it is very important.

$20 is fuck all to have a good night out. ive been to many a party with the same/more entry fee which have sucked balls (tho seriously, if youre into a particular type of music and you havent networked your local club yet then thats unforgivable. lining up/paying cover/using a guestlist means youre a muppet). $20 is a bargain to see the obsession guys imo.

come to tassie obsession. just dont play at halo. and bring begic. i need someone to give shit to

so my question is whats the point of this thread, coz i dont get it (note above, i dont get a lot of things).

i would go to an event just because i think i might like the music, if i haven't heard of the people djing before then it might put me off a bit but i dont think i would skip it completely.
