netflix
do any of you use this service?
I'd like to try it but I don't know how reliable it is so I need feedback
My dad has been using it for the last month or so. It seems to work very well, you really get the DVDs the next day like they say. When you return one, the next one on your list gets sent automatically I think. It's def. cheaper and better than going to Blockbuster and renting something...you don't have to worry about those retarded late fees...
it's here in nyc and alot of people use it
same goes for blockbuster's dvd program they got goin on.
i just basically borrow them from my friends who rent them and burn my self a copy and then mail it out for them...hehe
my library is growing, i'm half way through my large binder, its exciting to see it grow, even more exciting when people ask to come over to watch a movie and then i slam the huge binder of burned dvds and ask them to pick a movie...
of course it's not in any order just pages on pages of movies...
sounds like a good idea...
3 at a time deal sounds pretty nice.. for &17 a month its sweet
netflix rules. no complaints when i use to use it.
i don't have time to watch enuff movies to make it worth my while

I use it but I am finding that Im not watching them quickly enough. But it is nice when I have an afternnon to kill I can just watch the movies that I have. As fas as quickness goes, it takes a day to get the movie and then a day to send it back, then the next day they will send out another one. So its 3 days between movies. Like if you send it on Mon you will get another one on Thurs.
I've been using it for over 2 years now. Everyone said you'll watch all the movies you want then there will be nothing left and you will cancel. That couldn't be further from the truth. The amount of new material released each month, plus the ability to find obscure documentaries and movies you would normally never find in a video rental store will keep you entertained forever. I couldn't live without it. The service is fast and reliable. I've only ever had an unplayable disc once so far in the 2 years with them.
Agreed. It really is a nice service if you watch more movies than your cost at the movie store would be. It's not a lifetime thing though, I used it for about 6 months in a mass catching-up-on-movies-that-I-meant-to-see-but-missed session.

not big on star wars. still scares me tho.
Netflix is great. They've got great service and quick as hell turnarounds. I've gotten 2 unplayable discs before. But I've been using them for ~2 years now.

The great thing about netflix is that they have tons of tv shows on dvd for rental, unlike blockbuster online. I already got (read: copied) all 7 seasons of Next Generation, working on Deep Space 9 now, and all 9 or 10 seasons of the X-files are in queue. After that I'm gonna hit SG1, Dr. Who, Twilight Zone, and Outer Limits. Yeah, I'm a geek, stfu
