XM Radio vs Sirius for EDM?
Can someone please help me decide whic satellite radio company I should go with? My gym has XM Radio and they play BPM in the morning which I love to hear while I'm on the tread mill. I know they broadcast some of the essential mixes which is why I'm leaning towards XM but maybe someone can tell me about Sirius and their EDM stations. I'd like to get an opinion before I buy. Thanks guys.
just check both radio's sites and see what they offer.

you'd be better in the local sections, some of us don't even get to choose
my friends that have XM really like it - thats all the advice i can give you
and if you're an ASOT-whore - XM is going to start carrying ASOT
i had sirius and got bored of the constant repetition of their playlists....dull, dull, dull
xm seems to have better shows but sirius just got bbc radio1 so they will at least have good shows at the weekends.
I have XM and I really like it some pretty good shows fairly nice playlists. A few TA's have there shows on XM too. Haven't heard sirius for EDM but I like my XM a lot.
I like the system station.

I have xm. The only complaint I have with it is that every weekday for at least two hours from 2-4ish there's this complete shit dnb played nonstop. There's only 3 edm channels so that limits my selection at that time by 33%. Aside from that its good...I've heard broadcasts of sets from sasha, oakenfold's 99 EMs, played dirty gringos cowbell a few times. Don't know about sirius though so i can't compare.
i have both, i can say they have there strengths and weeknesses, SIRIUS now has the an entire BBC chanel, so you get essential mix, tong, jules, fergie, and all the other great shows, but only edm generaly on weekends, other than that sirius has really only one good progessive/trance station...(they do rotate ALOT of the same tracks)
XM-is solid but yes they do play alot of DnB at night, but they have alot of solid shows like d-fuse and tom stephan...
bottom line if you listen mostly at night and weekends get sirius if not its a split between both
Xm sounds dope.. lots of drum and bass
....
I've ordered XM but am pissed to hear Sirius has the BBC stuff..
GRR!
