at pvd tonite

i wanna try and roll. never done it before. how does it change your experience and the music? can someone tell me how it goes or what it feels like compared to not doing anything.

couldn't you ask this in one of the other 40 pvd threads?

You should look for people with t-shirts or hats that say "DEA" - that means "Distributor of Extasy and Acid" - ask them, they usually have the best sh!t. If that doesn't work, ask the guys in NYPD uniforms. They work for company called "New York Party Drugs" - and they are very professional, courteous, and are even uniformed! Don't be alarmed by guns and handcuffs - that's to keep all the druggies from robbing them.

Oh, and if you don't find any of those folks - do try asking around. There are usualy undercover (and underdressed) agents, erm... I mean distributors wondering around. You know you found a jackpot when you feel cold bracelets and gentle, sexy whisper "you have the right to remain silent..."

I wouldn't drop at a club for your first time. Hell, I've rolled about 10-12 times (I'm not sure exactly) and I'm not comfortable taking it in a club yet.

Reason 1. You don't know how you will react. Even if it's pure MDMA you might freak the fuck out, cause a scene, get thrown out of the club and/or something worse.

Reason 2. You won't be entirely sure what you're taking is pure MDMA, harmful substances, or anything of the like. If it's the latter it's much harder to get the care you need when you're surrounded by a bunch of drugged up 20-somethings who are too mentally effed up to care that you might possibly be dying.

Reason 3. If it's pure MDMA, your brain will be working very fast. This means you will get hot, and your brain will start to overheat. You will need to buy water or you'll become overheated and die (this is just about the only reason why people die from taking pure ecstasy). Now, you could buy that club water at $4 a bottle and refill it at the bathroom continuously. Keep this in mind though, you're going to see the number one dj in the world, the club will be packed, you will be on hard drugs which will most likely make you disoriented. Will you be able to even find the bathroom much less turn on the water and refill your bottle after the eye wiggles set in and you can't see anything that is within a foot of your face? Most likely, no.

How to roll then?

Get a small group of people, go to a house/apartment where you can be completely open and move about. Have a couple beds, and a couple radios that will allow you to play EDM of your choice. Buy Vick's Vapo Inhalers, maybe some Vick's Vapo Rub and sawdust masks that you can coat the inside of with the Vapo Rub. Get some glowsticks, some pacifiers and some gum, the latter of two are to help with the teeth clenching. Also get menthol cigarettes, I prefer Kools when I'm rolling. Keep the rooms dark, have TALL glasses of water already filled and have easy access to faucets in which to get more water. It's usually good to have some experienced rollers with you as well. One's that can "blow you up" and perform "serotonin pushes".

Just don't do it at the club, especially not your first time.

^^^sounds like a roll party in college when there were no clubs around...

anybody know how far Roxyis from Penn Station..or what's the ebst way getting to the club from Penn Station. I'm coming from DC.

Anyone know if roxy allows people to bring cameras to the club? Cause most of the clubs in philly are gay like that and dont allow cameras

haven't been to Roxy in awhile, but they used to have a no camera policy. call them up, i'm sure they'll tell you.

I am sure that was a voice of reason, now here's the devil's advocate:

1. fuq that hippy sh!t man, get some of the best mdma you can get your paws on, probably will need 2 - 3 tabs for entire night. The only way to fly is while rolling on e, listening to PVD - nothing out ther is better. It's like sky diving - fun as shit but lasts for hours. The memory will last a lifetime and nothing else will be even close

2. if you want to think proactively about your body, take some vitamins beforehand. I would also suggest some immodium - you never know when you might get a case of e-sh!ts and the last thing you need is to be crapping in Roxy, on seats that are pissed all over

3. Wear loose and comfy clothes that you are not afraid to trash - coz' you will trash them. Once you sid down on a dirty floor as you're rolling, the last thing you need ruining your high is thinking about ruining your $400 Prada kickers and $300 D&G jeans... While you will be hot, a sweat shirt or something warm is recommended. Eventually you will get cold, and nothing kills buzz faster than coldness. Tho, don't wear it while you're rolling - you may overheat and may have organ failure. Just keep it somewhere tied around your waste. (NOTICE THE DANCING TA Guy) - HE HAS IT! >>

4. If you smoke, invest in a cig case. Moving about dancing, sitting down and all will crush your smoke pack and you'll be without smokes. YOu will need full flavor menthols to rock. Also, wind proof lighter is highly suggested. You won't be able to light a match nor will you be able to use one of them silly BIC lighters. Why? your hands will be tooo damn sweaty and shaky. So, button-push lighter is recommended.

5. Don't bring any glow sticks or silly LED's - they will only get you flagged for more thorough search and most likely will be confiscated or thrown out. (Many clubs don't allow them nowdays)

6. don't take anything with you that you might need to get home: keys, credit card, phone. etc. If you do - expect to lose them. so, either have zipper pockets or hope and pray you won't loose them. Especially sucks if you lose your keys or credit card u need to get home.

7. Bring sunshades of sorts. last thing you need is to have ppl see your bugged-out wiggly eyes. Especially cops and security.

And finally - bring someone who may be sober or trustworthy. You may need them to get home ;-)

Few tips:
a. chewing pill gets you high quicker and high lasts less - so, if that's your goal, chew. you will be high and done in about 2 - 3 hours. Otherwise, expect a longer trip.

b. as you're peakin' on your first one, if you want to prolong it - drop the second one. DON'T DROP MORE THAN 1 AT A TIME AND WITHIN 1 HOUR INTERVAL. Otherwise, results may be chaotic and unpleasant.

c. Don't eat at least 4 hours before you roll. you don't want to be pukin' up your diner.

and

d. have some weed for come-down. you will land smoothly, not crash-land. smoking some weed on come down really helps not jus twith the come down but also the day after.

DON'T PANIC AND HAVE FUN!


get a bottle of water, chewing gum, and DON'T MAKE ANY DECISIONS WHILE YOU'RE ROLLING. Telling your first date that you're in love with him/her and want to marry her is normal. Very emphatic. but not real. unless you love/him her before hand.

oh, and one other thing. if you have gf/bf that will roll w/you you may want to have a room reserved at hotel nearby. horny is not the word to describe the condition you will be in. Especially fun is 69 or other oral activities. intercourse is not recommended and will be very frustrating and fruitless (unless you smoke some weed - see above). but then you're risking pregnancy and other fun stuf... so think before you roll - you may not have a chance to re-think while you're on the rollercoaster.

most important thing, is dont worry about anyyyything and what ever happens just go with the flow, once u start worrying, ur shit is shot and u get pissed and blahhh, and of course some agua every while, i like chewing on ice soo good lol have fun

What clubs in Philly dont allow cameras? I have never had any problems...
