i want to rip some cds that i have, but i don't have a ripper or an encoder... what is the best ripper/encoder program out there, that I should use??

Hi!

As ripper you should try cdcopy or a modified version of the virtual device driver "cdfs.vxd". The second tool is really cool, you can browse your audio cd as if it's a data cd.

As encoder I always use the original encoder from Fraunhofer, it's not the fastest one, but it's okay. If you need a faster encoder you should try the XING MP3 Encoder.

audiocatalyst is the best ripper encoder u can use by far!
