-- Problem to install and start Reason 3.0

Question Problem to install and start Reason 3.0

I have the 3 cds for installing Reason 3.0 but when i start installing it, the wizard dont ask me for cd 2 neither 3 and seems like it was installed. Then I launch the reason but appears this text:
"The GUILIB.DLL file is linked to missing export USER32.DLL:AllowSetForegroundWindow..."
So i cant start Reason.

What can I do?

Contact Propellerhead's support department....

you might want to try to get some updates for windows... cuz it seems that your USER32.dll system file is way too old or something...try to update your windows and if it doesn't help just contact p-heads and you should be fine

I don't have reason 3, but Reason 2 came with 2 soundbank CD's, isn't it the same with reason 3? I guesss those are the 2 extra cd's you have

And about the dll file, try googling it's filename, download it if you find it and put it into your windows\system32 , that might fix the problem

Oh, and PS: that *might* screw up your computer, btw, so do it at your own risk! I don't know what the purpose of this dll file might be, it might even be a significant part of windows :S ... you might wanna do some research on the file beforehand (you might also want to try putting the file into your reason 3 folder before you try the system32 folder)

BE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR PREVIOUS USER32.dll FILE IF YOU'RE OVERWRITING IT!!!!!

When I installed reason 3 it only uses the first cd to install stuff. Then when you run the program, it asks you for the other cd's. I never heard of that problem though. Mine worked fine on windows xp with sp 2.

Thanks to all of you for the help. Ill change my windows, cause seems like thats the problem.
Anyway, if someone find another way to make it work it will be great.

See ya
