Come On England!!!!!
What a game!!! Owen , Rooney, Becksham and Robison all world class today!!! Just shows what we are capable of . Come on u ENGLAND

You guys can thank Sven for this win, His tactical coaching was brilliant tonight against Argentina..
But Argentina is a better team, and with Franco back in the goal, They'll surely go bettter during the WC.

I thought Abbondanzieri played a blinder ! He made some seriously quality saves. Still not too keen on big P Crouch in the set up, i think he still has a hell of a lot to prove. I understand he only had ten mins on but he has had a bad season so far. My current verdict is that he is far overated. Would prefer to see Darren Bent given a go!

Give him a slap!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes. He was good meanwhile, But not all the time. His goalkeeping-technique was very weird and he saved weirdly with the chest a couple of times.
Still, Leo Franco is a much better goalkeeper and Argentina substituted their best defender Ayala.
England played very well tonight, But it's pretty obvious that the Argentine players is much faster than the english-defenders. But yeah, It's a friendly game and I will not start to talk shit about Englands and Argentinas performance.
Very well done by England too beat Argentina tonight. They've got Michael Owen, A true goalscorer who won the game for England in the last minutes.
Congrats
That was a great game to watch. Argentina are a better team but again England show they don't need possession to win matches.
Phil Neville and Ashley Cole, the REGULAR defenders on England's back flanks weren't even playing today. Why Sven is persisting with Rio "I don't know what's going on" Ferdinand baffles me. Put Saul in with Terry...or have Ledley back on defence. With a back four of Neville, Saul Campbell, Terry and Ashely Cole, these defensive problems apparent today won't be much of a concern. Keep Rio in there and disaster is bound to happen. Robinson proved again why he's England's number 1. Let's keep James as far away from the WC as possible.
Good win though. This spring is going to be marvellous.
Didnt watch it but kinda unhappy I missed it although Argentina lost which would've made me upset lol. I hate england like alot of ppl so Ill stay out of it for Smitty's sake
yeah, well I hate Argentina (and Brazil and Germany) so there.

watching those highlights again only confirms my intense fears about having Rio Ferdinand in the back four. He is bloody god awful right now.

Germany is always boring...they score one goal and get back on defence and never score again...thats the way they play.

Fantastic game, looked like a competitive match instead of a friendly. I think a draw would be more fair tho. Argentina was better during most part of the game, but England's last 20 minutes decided it.
I hope this is the kind of football we're going to have in the World Cup..
