pioneer 500 or 600/cue
hi y'all
I used a 500 or 600 mixer the other day and never found how to set up the split-cue for headphones...it does have one right? I may use it again, so, how do I do it?
Where is it?....Thanks

thats a 500. no spilt cue
ok thanks, and the 600 has?
I don't remember which it was

I'm pretty sure the 500 has it too...why would they have a "mono" switch? Mono = One
I KNOW for sure that the 600 does have it.

thats really bog pict you got

I saw that mono switch, but was afraid to touch it
... I had the feeling it was for the speakers, though there was only 1 speaker..
Anyway I guess if the 500 specs don't say split cue, then it doesn't have it. I kindd'a think I was using the 500...so...oh well
Thanks y'all.
The 500 doesn't have split cue although you can select master to get the records that is playing, in your head phones with the track your cueing to mix. The master is always at a lower volume then the channel monitors. If it's not loud enough or to load turn up or down the monitor eq which just basically turns up the low end for the monitor tracks.
peace
ps the mono stereo swith in the monitor section is for the head phones the one on top of the master vu is for the main output
sorry the eq turns up or down the low end for the monitor tracks
I ended up using a Behringer...the pioneer clone version. 1st time ever uisng it.. you know.. after reading soooo much negative comments on the mixer I gotta admit, I have NOT read enough
I admit I'm new to this..I've only played in now 4 mixers...and by far...way way far..it sucks. BAD .

. Cloned the 600. I can't really say anything bad about the DJX700. It was a good mixer for the price. Couldn't beat what it offered for $200. Never had any problems with it.
the sound system was good. I've heard my records in many systems. I've used my headphones with many mixers (that, on more than 4)
man simply said, the sound quality is BAD. Anything else I've got no comment, but sound quality sucks.
