OT: Outdoor Wok Burner

So I like Chinese and South East Asian food. To make it a wok and high tempereature burner are essential. Normal stovetop burners aren't nearly hot enough (probly 8000-10000 BTUs), and even if they were the sheer smoke and oil splatter wuld fuck up my kitchen. So I'm looking for an outdoor propane, high powered (say 50000 BTUs) wok burner, like the ones you see street food vendors use in Thailand. Anyone know where I could get one? I found a pretty cool one on amazon , but they don't ship to Australia. Anyone seen anything suitable around?

Check out Mitre 10, I bought a three ring wok burner and on full bore it's pretty damn hot. It was $20 down from 50 or something like that about 6 months ago... works a treat... cept it canes through the gas... It'd be bigger than the one you got there about two to three fold. cast iron thing.

it looks a bit like this but without the surrounding bit and with a third ring... this one's rated at 35,000 btu. dunno what mine is.

And for authenticity... I'm thai

Sweet I'll definitely check that out first. I reckon it's an untapped market for these babies.
