simply explained to the trance crackheads

i just noticed that many people come here asking "what is techno" and its kind of silly to do that in a trance forum since most people who listen to trance are usually clueless about other genres, so i decided to explain to you in just few words.

the original techno came from Detroit and it has MELODY and its SOULFUL.
i see when someone asks "what is techno" a bunch of people either say something foolish or someone decides seriously to post a sample and explain.
the sample is usually HARD TECHNO or techno coming from Europe.
that is NOT the original techno.

so overall... Europeans really take it as their own if they reffer to it as simply techno, but they created many SUBGENRES of techno.

again... the original is from Detroit and it has the type of melody that puts you into some mythological world unlike trance which creates FAKE emotions of well being(thats why so good on E).

Many people who listen to trance are ignorant to know what really happened in the 90s, but i will tell you i have been paying attention and trance came from techno and many of you deny it and wont accept it.

i hope when next time someone asks "what is techno" you dont just post a sample of some shranz(hard german tech) and say THATS TECHNO AND IT HAS NO MELODY !

think about it... would you feel better if someone asks me what is trance and i put a sample of some psy-trance, hard trance or even worst... dj Sammy and say THATS REAL TRANCE !

so have some respect please.
learn and then talk.

They're crackheads because they assume?

Don't be a prick and educate, because your immature labeling has made you worse than them.

I dunno..i think its cool how you tried to help other people out...kinda

People use umelodic, European techno because it sounds very distinctive. This helps people tell it apart from trance. Early techno is so primordial you could confuse it with many styles.

Dude Dj Sammy and DJ GT of DI are two most infamous DJs I ever come around with.

When noone like tham, than why dont they leave DJing for the upliftment of humanity on this planet?

Actually, the more and more you look into it, the more and more you realize that the two really have no relation whatsoever, and were borne, grown, and evolved completely separate from each other.

Techno was a black interpretation of futurism, wrought from the springboard of electro culture, breakdancing, bass music and robots, with its stronghold being the Midwest, USA.

Trance is whitebread music originally obsessed with neo-spiritualism, drugs, and consciousness expansion, squeezed from the dishcloth of northern Europe. It's always had a teutonic/nordic aesthete to it, from its birth in the industrial scene to its evolution into pop dance.

Total contrast there. Grungey black dystopian futurism made from crude analog synths belching out harsh computer sounds versus pristine white uplifting spiritualism made from user-friendly VSTs doling out lovely strings and pretty melodies. The only thing they have in common is that they are in 4/4 time. Other than that, they represent polar opposite sides of humanity (or inhumanity).
