Ahhhh.. it was sooo freaking good....too bad the stream cut..but 4 hours of non-stop Armin was great!

Now... i usually don't mind MCs doing their thing but... like its called ARMIN ONLY...we know who the DJ is.. no need to constantly repeat his name during all the crazy good tracks!

does anyone else see armin takin a page out of tiestos book? lol hes starting to promote/market himself in a pretty ridiculous way, i think its a little over the top but whatever was a good set but i cant see how u can stand up infront of 12000 people and listen to that mc on the mic big you up like that...lol
basically armins is really desperate for that #1 spot next year i think.. radio show is gettin to be pretty shit these days too. what ever happened to xxl?? why'd that end when id&t switched back to slam? I love armin but i find as time goes on im losing more and more interest in him as he gets more commercial. He's losin touch wiht the sound he used to have, espically on asot, i can't believe how much crap he plays on there now...first hour of the last show was horrible besides like 2 songs.
its a shame to see happen, but then again if #1 was within reach who wouldn't pull out all the stops to get it

I can see why you might say that but I don't agree with you.
It seems to me that these events that Armin is doing still have the nightclub feel to it, which is what I criticized Tiesto for the most. Plus there's no breaks for Armin to change wardrobe or ridiculous things like that, which there were in the Tiesto gigs.
Just Armin putting on a mega show, more like a festival with just him playing.

yea good point about the club feel/wardrobe. Hes definately not as crazy as tiesto. But it is still directly along the same lines, just a smaller scale. This is just the start though.. who knows how far hes gonna take it.. hes already got that crazy MC though lol i'd think that'd be the final straw, i'd rather see him changin wardrobe than listen to that guy, guy, guy.
