Hey Im New & Need Help !

Hi everyone Im new to this forum and i hope to learn alot and make a few friends along the way. The problem is i have been into Mixing for about 9 years and i really want to dj in a night club but im not sure how to go about it as i have sent lots of tapes out and never got any replies from these clubs. My mates say im really good and theres been a few bars near me that have said the same but they just dont want my kind of music. So any help would be great. I hope i havnt posted in the wrong section..

I think thats the root of your problem.

PS: You might want to try to put this in the local section since there are people there that live around you and might be able to give you better advice about where to try to get a gig and Im sure there are some promoters in there which could aide you as well.
