Cheapest way to legally download/purchase tracks?

Anybody have any input as to where is the best place I can purchase and download tracks? As tempting as it is to burn tracks, I want to support the artists and producers who create the music and need a affordable way to do so. Any suggestions??

most prices per track are 1usd to 2usd, usualy depending on how old the track is.
