Roy Keane leaves

i was so happy when i heard critiano ronaldo signed a new contract with us and just a few minutes later the headline changed to this ... i cant express how gutted i feel right now ... keano is truly a legend and the most loyal servant this club will ever see ... hope to see you back one day in fergies seat mate ... until then cheers

Interesting development. Havent followed this saga too much but from what I hear their must be more than just him thinking the contract wouldnt be renewed..

It was about time to go for something new, I think he's doing the right thing after servin Mancherster United for such a long time.

He's won very much with the club and he can be very proud.

come of it dude ... you know it as well as i do what kind of a player he was not just for us but for football as a whole ...always outspoken and not afraid to voice his opinion even if was a negative view of the club ....i dont think hes going to stay in england out of respect for united ... celtic is supposed to be his first choice but i think madrid should snap him up ... they need a good captain as well as a defensive mid fielder and keane can definately fill that vacancy for a year or two ...would have been insane if he was fit and madrid bought him and played him on saturday

he's getting old raveed don't forget that. maybe qatar ?

Roy Keane was a top player. I reckon he should have left man u a while ago though. You could tell last season he had gone passed it.
Never forget though that roy keane is a thug e.g. alf inge haalands He is lucky not to have been banged up for that challenge. So before everyone says how great he is, take a min to think how hes acted over the years.

Hearts you mean. Without a doubt it will be Celtic, hes been saying for years after Man Utd he would go to Celtic.

Well im sad to see him go, the guy was an absolute all time great. Definately a once in a lifetime player, and do not think Man United would have been the force without him.

But I definately think there is something behind his decision to quit. Keane aint a quitter and yet he did so mid season seemingly out the blue. Suppose we just have to wait for the truth to come out

Sorry my mistake....what you think about that. I think its good for the SPL having most likely more competition with Celtic and Rangers and now this Hearts club

I can't say i'd be happy with him coming to celtic... He seems like a trouble maker when not playing, something that celtic can very well do without. He's well past his best as well.

I think it's great for scottish football whats happened at hearts, but what may happen yet has to be worrying for the hearts fans.. hibernian are also challenging this year, they have some great young players coming thru..

This years league has been far better than any I can remember, and long may it continue

Yeah, It's great that Hearts and Hibernian can challenge Rangers and Celtic. It's always been between those two, It's really great that they've got some serious challengers.

Keanes an absolute wanker.

One of the dirtiest players around, who gives a fuck.

Posted by zoric on Nov-21-2005 12:15:

I woke up this morning by hearing that Roy Keane was on his way too Juventus. I thought "Yeah sure, Swedish papers is always lying about this kind of stuff".

Anyways, I started reading the article about Keane leaving for Juventus, I was totally shocked, Why the hell would Juventus want this pig in their team? :|

Daily Mirror, Daily Mail, The Sun and Daily Star has gone out with this information.

I remember Channel 4, They're a pretty reliable source, They said Vieria was on his way to Juventus and he actually ended up in Juve this season. Not only this news was provided by Channel 4, I remember them going out by saying that Juve was going to buy players like Cannavaro, Zlatan and Camoranesi, They were right about that too.

So anyways, What do you guys think about this? Is those papers reliable sources?

Juventus eh....i guess that didn't pan out.

He's been having talks with Moyes about going to Everton. Since they're shite, he couldn't hurt! Why he would go to Italy anyway is beyond me.....

Why not, it's a better league than the premiership.

The English Premiership is very overrated and the weaker teams in the league can't beat any of the top teams like in the Spanish La Liga or the Italian Serie A.

Latest news that I've heard on Keane is that he's on his way too Real Madrid, Don't know how true that is though..
