Need Restaurant Ideas - 7 people

hey peeps,

i'm summoning the great powers of NYTA to assist me in my search of a restaurant for a meetup for myself and 6 of my grammar school best friends...

when: friday, nov. 25 LUNCH time (day after turkeyday; looking to make reservations soon of course)
where: anywhere in manhattan plz! (preferrable south of 30th)

***no stupid chains like TGIFridays, Chevy's, Applebees, etc***

my requirements:

1. good atmosphere, able to be a Bit loud without feeling awkward, no quiet places!
2. not in a cheesy area (*cough*timessquare*cough)
3. not expensive (i think $20 a person for lunch with no alkie is ok)
4. general cuisine to please all tastes (ie new american cuisine or italian; nothing super ethnic)

i'm making my way thru zagat's and citysearch as we speak.. i appreciate your help you guys!!!! (kidnyce i'm counting on you! )

mucho grateful,
danisan

edit: this is for lunch time!

any ideas?

SERAFINAAAAAA!!!! 4th and Lexington, i believe... one of my favorites... the food and the environment are awesome, and going at night is a plus as there is medium-volume lounge house music with live percussions... its mostly an italian restaurant but has a bit of everything, trust me, its an awesome spot....

....also try out DIVA, its like a block south i think of Canal Room... nice spot
