Tropical Storm Gamma

How unlucky are we here in SOFL? I mean I LOVE Miami but DAMN it hasn't even been a month since Wilma. There is STILL a lot of debris ALL over & some places still remain without power...even if it won't potentially get as strong as Wilma it can be enough to push debris & knock out power...

Projected to be here Monday night...if we lose power WTF will Thanksgiving be like...It's the first time we've ever gotten into the Greek alphabet & this late in the year...

so far this hurricane shit has foiled all my plans for winter break. mexico and flordia are like definatly out now.

Does anyone if the carribean resorts are open/re-open for winter?

I work in a travel company...all of our resorts in Jamaica, Bahamas, Brazil, Curacao, & D.R. are open

I work for a cruise line and we're actually stopping in Cozumel
right now. Cancun is off limits.
Too much destruction, the passengers would feel cheated with much reason.
Once they re-build it it will probably rawk way more than it did

thanks for the tip. reason i asked is because i get mixed responses from people who don't work for a resort or a cruise line or anything. I guess ima have to settle for the caribean which should be fun enough anyways
