anybody else enjoy daft punk

i know they're a bit cheesey at times, but cheese can be good if it's done correctly.

i'm not like their number #1 fan or anything, i just can appriciate them a little more than some people i know.

*this is a question for the cor whores, not the music discussion..hence why it wasn't posted there ;p)

daft punk is the type of music that must be respected even if it does have some degree of cheese in there. but it's the addicting kind +1 for dp

Posted by kadomony on Nov-20-2005 02:57:

my friend and i brought daft punk to the New Jersey area

I really love Daft Punk - High Life. It's cheesy and shit but I just can't help loving it. It's one of my all time fav tracks infact. I like a couple other of their more commercial tracks but overall am not really a fan of a lot of their work.

I wish they'd make less gay sampled house and more acid bangers like Da Funk.

aerodynamite ftw!

Daft punk rocks. Homework is probably one of my favs all time albums, easy if they are a bit cheesy.

Buy it, use it, break it, fix it,
Trash it, change it, melt - upgrade it,
Charge it, pawn it, zoom it, press it,
Snap it, work it, quick - erase it,
Write it, cut it, paste it, save it,
Load it, check it, quick - rewrite it,
Plug it, play it, burn it, rip it,
Drag and drop it, zip - unzip it,
Lock it, fill it, curl it, find it,
View it, coat it, jam - unlock it,
Surf it, scroll it, pose it, click it,
Cross it, crack it, twitch - update it,
Name it, rate it, tune it, print it,
Scan it, send it, fax - rename it,
Touch it, bring it, obey it, watch it,
Turn it, leave it, stop - format it

daft punk are solid (not with the latest album tho), they have done some amazing tracks and remixes. the entire first album is genius pure & thru. discovery did have it's more cheesier moments yeh but it was rocking aswell, aerodynamite is one of the best b-sides ever. their remixes of chord memory and life is sweet are great. and then there are some of the remixes of the fellas work. armand's 10minute remix of da funk in nothing but pure funkyness, vitalic's remix of technology is also mintess, and neptunes remix of harder..... is what i will always remember the neptunes by

Daft Punk was one of the reason i was drawn to EDM back in 1997. I remember the video Da Funk was badass.

Yep that was it. Looked like the McGruff crime dog. It was a kinda WTF video with him just strolling through the city.

That track is a total rip-off of the Staples jingle.
