Smile Yay! My 1st Order Of Vinyl Came Today

I was tracking my UPS shipment every hour; Finally it came. I have my first set or records! My dad is laughing at me because after all this technology I ordered big plastic discs. Now all I have to do is buy that set of Gemini PT-2100s. Goodbye paycheck.

I ordered:
Katana - Fancy Fair. I have loved this song ever since I heard Tiesto play it. Always gets me out on the floor.

4 Strings - Into the night. I had to change my pants when PVD played this.

Coast 2 Coast - Home. Ahhh that Tiesto remix.

DJ Remy - Pumped Up (Original Mix). A favorite floor filler of mine.

So, on to buy the turntables when my next paycheck comes on Friday.

Bugga! The last 6 times I've ordered records, everytime I look for 4 Strings - Into the Night, I can never get it. I burned it to cd so I can mix with it, but I still want the vinyl.

My first order of Internet vinyl arrived this week too from groovetech.com

Only problem being that they forgot to pack 1 of the vinyl. So instead of a full order, they left one out, the one being Southside Spinners - Luvstruck. Really unimpressed, especially since I was being charged shipping for all the vinyl.

Mailed them to sort it out. They said that they'd credit my card with the shipping & vinyl amount, I said not good enough, I want the vinyl shipped.

Anybody else have issues with Internet stores & vinyl?

A.

Damn, that is a good song to have "forgot"..

I love that one..

I ordered some from dancerecords.com, they came real quick, in good shape, and not too pricey.

about website problems, last time i ordered from plantexusa.com they sent me Muse - sunburn instead of Muse - Newborn, i talked it over with them and i sent them it back. they credited me shipping it back to them and the vinyl itself. they would have sent newborn but they didnt have it, i guess ill order it off of juno if no one around here wants to sell me theres

speaking of dont you hate it when sites dont show whether or not they have a vinyl in stock?!?! and you can only find out after you order or are about to do the actual purchase... talk about wasting my time you'd think they have computers to database which records come in and out.

what pisses me off the most is when u have already submitted ur CC details and then two days later "oops sorry we don't have that vinyl in our database anymore"

by the way , "I KILL! " lol to get Katana - Fancy Fair , what is the best place online that sells it ?

I would sell you this bro, but I like the nifty Timo Maas breakbeat mix on the other side.

I assumed your talking about the perfecto/maas remix vinyl.

planetxusa has shit for customer service, if you read their faq, they are so fuckin arrogant it pisses me off. and one time they adversided wrong and wouldnt admit it and i bought that vinyl, i they wouldnt take it back, and i got taht credit too when i returned a record, cuz their stupid asses didnt check to make sure it wasnt warped. right when warrior - voodoo came out, they labelled it as matt darey remix on teh site, so i love matt darey and just ordered it, and what do you know, the mix is called dubby mix, not matt darey mix, matt darey isnt written anywhere on teh vinyl, and those fags wouldnt even take that piece of shit back, even though they did advertise wrong, i havent ordered from them since.

they list a whoel bunhc of vinyls in their database, and they says it is because they want their customers to know what they had in stock, what is that bullshit, i dont give a shit what they used to have in stock, i want to know what they have in their stock now, so i can order without having to worry that since some of the vinyl they cant get, makes my order go below their 40 dollars "minimum" and cancel my shit, and the planetx peeps or whatever, who can order all thsoe promos they have, what is taht shit, everyone should have a fair chance at getting them. whatever, jeez bring out the anger in me
ahah

Planetxusa.com - terrible, terrible customer service. I've ordered twice and will never order from them again. SatelliteRecords.com and GrooveTech.com have been great to me. Both label the package as promo material and a value of $1 for each vinyl so you don't pay duty (Planetxusa.com refused to do this after I asked). They ship promptly (Groovetech is like $20USD but they'll have your records to you in about 24 hours), both sites have active stock information WHILE you order online, not after the fact.

My recommendation, stay clear of Planetx and use either Satelliterecords or groovetech if you want US sites.

the only thing i would say planetx is good for is new releases, i swear, one time the day they went on clearance i went to buy something, and they said they didnt have it in stock, and it was an item they put on clearance, how much bull shit is that, they think they rule the world or something
