Trentemoller - what style?

I have a bunch of Trentemoller tracks and mixes, but apart from a few Soul Mekanik and Tiefschwarz tracks, I don't have anything of a similar style. So what style is it? Electro?

Are there any other producers doing stuff that would fit in a set with it?

Le Champagne is a great track, but Late nite cab driving is probably my fav of that style (the non-tech/electro style)

Lots of great stuff from him on Naked...my avatar is the cover for his EP release on Naked, if you're into the deep house sound. Some of his work might be minimal, but for the most part, it's really hard to pin point exactly the sound. But think, techy, acid, electro house type stuff. Just to give an idea of his styles, check out:

absolutely love the start of this tune. gets a bit shit after 3 or 4 minutes tho.

I'd highly recomend vernis - bubblebath (trentmoller remix). Great peak time electro tune.

So I guess I'll plunder the 'minimal' and 'tech-house' sections for similar sounds. I have all of the tracks mentioned and a lot more besides. My favourites would be Beta Boy, Chameleon, Le Champagne, Physical Fraction and Polar Shift.

I also like the mellow girly remixes like Filur - You and I, and Pashka - Island Breeze. Friday creeps me out though

I wouldn't call Trentemoller tech-house at all. All the sounds are electro-magnetic in nature. Perhaps "minimal electro" would be a better description.

i totally agree! but nothing but quality from trentmoller in the past few years!
